Series 12 really was such a BIG improvement on series 11. I don't even dislike the bottom few that much, but all could've done with some major tweaks to realise the potential within their storylines.

That top 3 is so close too!!! Fugitive got me feeling like no Doctor Who episode has in ages - surprised, bewildered and excited, so that gives it the edge for me, but all are honestly so strong.

Sadly only the top 3 are truly great, though most of the next section were very solid, I've never felt compelled to go back to much else.

Nothing has come even close to Fugitive of the Judoon so far in this era. That episode was the first time in a very long time with Who where I was genuinely shocked, on the edge of my seat, beaming with excitement and happiness that they'd pulled off such a massive twist and I had no knowledge from spoilers, etc beforehand. Rosa is a masterpiece, and The Haunting of Villa Diodati contains so many elements of what makes the show as great as it is while introducing brand new elements at the same time. Really hope Maxine Alderton gives us more of the same in series 13.

Ascension of the Cybermen / The Timeless Children suffers due to Ascension, really. I absolutely love the Cybermen parts of Ascension because it genuinely felt like they were a proper threat for the first time in however many years, but (now with the knowledge of what Brendan's scenes actually mean) far too much time was spent concentrating on the sub-plot when it could have just been a couple of scenes here and there of the Doctor's mind being played with, then showing us these Ireland scenes. The Timeless Children was great from start to finish though. Demons of the Punjab, Kerblam! and Resolution all such strong stories too. Everything else on the list, while they all have their shining moments within, aren't exactly classics.

Fugitive of the Judoon = 9/10

Demons of the Punjab = 9/10

The Witchfinders = 8/10

Spyfall = 8/10

Rosa = 8/10

The Ghost Monument = 8/10

Resolution = 7/10

Kerblam! = 7/10

The Haunting of Villa Diodati = 7/10

The Woman Who Fell to Earth = 7/10

Praxeus = 6/10

It Takes You Away = 5/10

The Tsuranga Conundrum = 5/10

Can You Hear Me? = 4/10

Nikola Tesla's Night of Terror = 4/10

Arachnids in the UK = 4/10

Orphan 55 = 3/10

The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos = 3/10

Ascension of the Cybermen / The Timeless Children = 1/10

Okay:

The Woman Who Fell to Earth

Kerblam!

Demons of the Punjab

The Witchfinders

Spyfall

Boring and/ or shit:

The Ghost Monument

The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos

Praxeus

Arachnids in the UK

Orphan 55

The Tsuranga Conundrum

Spyfall Part 2

Those "Cybermen" episodes

And whatever else I'm missing. Absolute trash. Chibnall has to go. Compare these trash cybermen to Capaldi's body horror/ gothic ones!
