Very poorly because all it's Thursday sales will contribute towards today's chart... all the fans buying on Thursday (me included) won't be buying it towards next Friday's chart. It's whether she can build up a decent streaming fan base for next week, which for an artists of Melanie's age is highly unlikely.

 

Not that it really matters as she was never going to chart realistically anyway, this way at least she is visible on a music platform which will encourage more casual sales, and potentially radio to think ok we'll include it as it's top 10 on itunes or streaming services to do the same etc. She is likely to benefit from more sales overall this way I guess which in the long run is better for her and her business.

I have bought 5 times Who I Am to help her on the spanish chart, and the High Heels EP 'cause I didn't heard it before.

She's also at #9 on Amazon Top100 Best Sellers. And #1 in my heart. 😈
