Love the song! Video is a bit boring.

Looks well shot at least. The (what I assume is) Goin' Down hair looks weird though.

I havent watch it cause the quality is poor. I will wait for tomorrow... but i have listened and it is awesome!!!

I like the song.

 

The video is ok really. I guess it feels like more could've been done with the concept and some of the green screen work looks dodgy, but Red Girl's not exactly in the black as it is so give her a break.

It sounds anthemic & very catchy. It is such a banger! :music:

 

The lyrics are touching. She never disappoints, our Melanie. :wub:

How and where did it leak ?

Melanie C's team are responsible for this, they uploaded the video to her YouTube and were meant to have it set to being a premiere at a later date (i.e. not be able to watch it yet), but it was accessible. Some fans got to watch it before they made the video private.

Melanie had "The Late Late Show with James Corden" booked to promote this single, but the show was suspended because of coronavirus. Unfortunate timing, she hasn't had a US slot as high profile as that in... forever?

I can't believe she lost out on The Late Late Show because of Corona Virus it's like WTF, it's probably the most high profile gig you can get over there right now!

Hopefully she can get a slot at another time.

The video had the makings of a great idea but the execution is pretty bad. I'm assuming the woman who is seemingly sat 20 feet away from Melanie is supposed to be sculpting her, how very odd they made that look so odd.

It needed 2 or 3 more looks and at the end they need to all morph into the current day Melanie.

 

The song is ok, I'm not sure I'm here for High Heels or Who I am dance Melanie. We shall see maybe it is a grower.

I love it!!!

A couple more listens has made me like the song more. The video I'm not bothering to watch again.
