Posted March 14, 20205 yr From The Sun ITV bosses are revamping 1990s Saturday night TV favourite Stars in Their Eyes in a desperate bid to fill the void left by The X Factor. They signed off the new series last week after Simon Cowell said he was resting his talent show until next year. Their new take on the format will involve members of the public impersonating their idols on stage in front of a panel of celebrities. A TV source said: “This show is a huge deal for ITV — it’s their offering to take on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing in the ratings this autumn.
March 14, 20205 yr Author Great news. Used to love it. The series won't avoid Strictly but will apparently compete directly against it. Edited March 14, 20205 yr by Crazy Chris
March 14, 20205 yr Yay I used to really like it too! It was more fun than X Factor anyway. The series won't avoid Strictly but will apparently compete directly against it. Bad decision, I know there are catch up services but there should be room for people to watch both shows live on Saturday night rather than choosing. Edited March 14, 20205 yr by The S***e
