Biography

Performing a distinct Atlanta trap style but hailing from the Pacific Northwest, rapper Lil Mosey made his breakthrough in late 2017 with the viral hit "Pull Up." With its trap bass, light melody, and a singsong delivery similar to Lil Yachty and Desiigner, the track notched millions of streams for the teenaged Seattle musician, who issued his first tape, NorthsBest, in 2017. Follow-up Certified Hitmaker featured Chris Brown, Gunna, and Trippie Redd, debuting on the album chart in 2019 at number 12. - iTunes

Biography

Samuel Frederick Smith (born 19 May 1992) is an English singer and songwriter. Smith rose to prominence in October 2012 after being featured on Disclosure's breakthrough single "Latch", which peaked at number eleven on the UK Singles Chart. Their subsequent feature—on Naughty Boy's "La La La"— became a number one single in May 2013. In December 2013, Smith was nominated for the 2014 Brit Critics' Choice Award and the BBC's Sound of 2014 poll, winning both.

Smith's debut studio album, In the Lonely Hour, was released in May 2014 on Capitol Records UK. The album's lead single, "Lay Me Down", was released prior to "La La La". Its second single, "Money on My Mind", became Smith's second number one single in the UK. The third single, "Stay with Me", was an international success, reaching number one in the UK and number two on the US Billboard Hot 100, while the fourth single "I'm Not the Only One" reached the top five in both countries. Its fifth single, "Like I Can", reached number nine in the United Kingdom. They made their United States debut on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, followed by a performance on Saturday Night Live in March 2014.

In December 2014, Smith was nominated for six Grammy Awards, and at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards in February 2015 they won four: Best New Artist, "Stay with Me" for Record of the Year and Song of the Year, and In the Lonely Hour for Best Pop Vocal Album. At the 2015 Brit Awards, they won the awards for British Breakthrough Act and Global Success. At the 2015 Billboard Music Awards, Smith received three Billboard Awards: Top Male Artist, Top New Artist, and Top Radio Songs Artist. Their musical achievements have also led them to be mentioned twice in the Guinness World Records.

For their and Jimmy Napes' song "Writing's on the Wall", the theme for the James Bond film Spectre (2015), Smith won the Golden Globe Award and the Academy Award for Best Original Song. Their second studio album, The Thrill of It All, was released in November 2017, and debuted atop the UK Albums Chart and the US Billboard 200. The lead single, "Too Good at Goodbyes", reached number one in the UK and Australia and number four in the US. - Wikipedia

Great for Harry to grab another top 20 hit from the album, he's having much better success this time around (though I still think "Sign Of The Times" is his best!)

The album is good, I've been enjoying it quite a bit over the past few weeks.

Biography

Like the music of her mother and father -- Neneh Cherry and Cameron McVey -- Mabel McVey's first releases weren't easy to classify, but were rooted in R&B with a level of maturity beyond her age. Born in Spain and raised in London and Sweden, McVey showed a deep interest in music during early childhood and studied music production. Her parents didn't know that she was writing music until she was 16. Before she turned 20, she released her debut single, the independently released "Know Me Better" -- a moody, yearning piece of breakbeat soul. Signed to Polydor, she had her second single, "My Boy My Town," out by the end of 2015. Shortly after that, she was nominated in the BBC Sound of 2016 poll (won by Jack Garratt). In 2017, she delivered the mixtape Ivy to Roses, which included the single "Finders Keepers," featuring Kojo Funds. - iTunes

Neneh Cherry daughter...I should like her more then :D

Good song though but chorus sounds so Don't Call Me Up!!!

Playing a song just before the charts and then again in the chart show, we love to see it :kink: Boyfriend is definitely one of the best charting songs this year though!
wonder if they skipped 18 cos it was To Die For?
