June 17, 20205 yr 1. Elton John 2. Elvis Presley 3. Michael Jackson A perfect Top 3, my idols! Elvis finished at number 29!
June 17, 20205 yr Who is left? Justin Timberlake Elton John Michael Jackson Freddie Mercury George Michael and?
June 17, 20205 yr For me, Freddie would stay out of the Top 10, I don't have much interest in his/Queen stuff. -_-
June 18, 20205 yr Author NO 6- FREDDIE MERCURY (VOTERS: Mack- 30 points, Hauspital*- 18 points, Marcinjaro- 26 points, Toilet Rollo- 23 points, Quartonworks- 25 points, Liam- 28 points, Jordan Lee- 12 points, Nick F1- 16 points, Lukuzz- 24 points, AH Gold- 11 points, Vibe- 19 points, Scene- 24 points, Feel The Fever- 10 points)- 266 POINTS TOTAL UK TOP 40 HITS: 7 BIGGEST UK HIT: LIVING ON MY OWN (#1, 1993) HTdd8QxifbY
June 18, 20205 yr Author Ccongrats to Jonjo, *Dandy, Hauspital* marcinjaro, xajnipi, jra1989, Quartonworks, Spiceboy, Aaron TM, Jordan Lee, Gezza, AH Gold, and James Barkley who all get their 30 pointer into the top 5!
June 18, 20205 yr Great Top 5 but I'm still shocked Robbie isn't in it. I'm still gutted I forgot to send my votes in but I've been adding my scores in to see how much of a difference they would have made, and the main change would have been Robbie finishing at number 10 instead of number 13 (he would have got 29 points from me). Eminem would also have finished 2 places higher at 13, and Prince and Kanye would both have finished 2 places lower at 14 and 16 respectively. So not a massive difference, but I'll wait and see how much of a difference it would have made at the top - I'll be really annoyed if it makes a difference to my 30 pointer not finishing at number one!
June 18, 20205 yr Based on his solo work,I gave Freddie 23 points. If I included his lead vocals and writing with Queen,it would certainly have been 30 points.
June 18, 20205 yr I actually think I was too generous re Freddie tbh. I can’t at all deny his talent but I’d say that’s way more Queen than Freddie. Well done to him for finishing as high as 6th though!
June 18, 20205 yr I'm disappointed that I didn't vote in this (at least I don't think I did!) A strong top 5 - Justin Timberlake has done VERY well.
June 18, 20205 yr I'm pleased that Freddie Mercury isn't top 5, he was my least favourite left by some margin. We have a really strong top 5 and I'm a little surprised tbh, I wasn't expecting a Buzzjack rate to have so many older stars in the top end of it.
June 18, 20205 yr I forgot about Freddie until these discussions around him, but even if I'd remembered, I'm not sure he would have made my list tbh. Queen in the bands/groups one, 100%! But solo male? Nah. His solo stuff never grabbed me, at all. One of the greatest front men ever though.
June 18, 20205 yr Queen in the bands/groups one, 100%! That's a point, has there been a bands vote? And if not, do we know if one is planned? :D
June 18, 20205 yr Author I'm a little surprised tbh, I wasn't expecting a Buzzjack rate to have so many older stars in the top end of it. Now you're not that surprised- you do very well in the Buzzrate every year :D
June 18, 20205 yr Freddie Mercury, he's a legend. Delighted that he finished sixth. Predictions for Top 5 1. Michael Jackson 2. David Bowie 3. George Michael 4. Elton John 5. Justin Timberlake
June 19, 20205 yr 1. MJ 2. GM 3. JT 4. EJ 5. DB I'd be happy with any Top 5 as long as MJ is number one
June 19, 20205 yr Author NO 5- DAVID BOWIE (VOTERS: *Dandy- 30 points, Hauspital*- 20 points, Marcinjaro- 28 points, xajmipi- 29 points, Toilet Rollo- 18 points, Spiceboy- 27 points, Bjork- 10 points, Jordan Lee- 19 points, Nick F1- 23 points, Vibe- 3 points, AH Gold- 30 points, James Barkley- 30 points, Scene- 11 points, Feel The Fever- 9 points)- 287 POINTS TOTAL UK TOP 40 HITS: 57 BIGGEST UK HIT: SPACE ODDITY (#1, 1975) ASHES TO ASHES (#1, 1980) UNDER PRESSURE (#1, 1981) LET’S DANCE (#1, 1983) DANCING IN THE STREET (#1, 1985) f9yLDKm_BtQ
