Good to have a date for this now but that feels like a lifetime away!

I'm so used to albums being announced months ahead so that seems quite a reasonable date to me now :lol:

Wasn’t far off in my prediction so the pre album single will likely be the first week of the new year. The new single is another quality song!

Baby It's You was performed on Later... with Jools Hooland last night

 

It has also climbed to #90 in the chart this week

 

 

Californian Soil enters Spotify at #175 today and it is now Top 30 on iTunes and at #540 on AM.

3 weeks in the top 100 for 'Baby It's You' :cheeseblock: Get that longevity.

[/late] but am really liking 'Californian Soil' as well, giving me some Massive Attack vibes. Not quite as instant as instant as 'Baby It's You' was but I definitely think it'll grow on me too. (Also may just be me but I feel like there's a bit of a sinister/spooky sound to the instrumental here, particularly that creeping guitar riff, feels quite appropriate for an October release xx)

 

'Baby It's You' spends a 4th week in the top 100 today, holding at #90!

Baby It’s You may be my fave song of theirs now (excluding the remixed versions of Strong/Hey Now), such a lovely song. Californian Soil’s also got some interesting production to it and seems like a grower.
