Posted April 1, 20205 yr It is 10 years since 'Hard' came out which featured rapper with the sore throat, Young Jeezy. Xcwd_Nz6Zog This just missing out on the Top 40 at #42 thanks to downloads and the music video effect. What do you make of this now?
April 2, 20205 yr I love this so much. But 'Rated R' only has like 3 tracks I don't really go back to, unless I listen to the album in it's entirety. The production on this is amazing and her attitude/vocal delivery in this is sharp and "hard". Such a great song!
April 2, 20205 yr I never liked this. Photographs should've got US single treatment over this imo.
April 2, 20205 yr I'll grant you that will.i.am's part is horrible but I love the rest of it. It's so melancholic and moody. Like the lyrics are sad but Rih just delivers them in such an apathetic way.
April 2, 20205 yr This is one of my favourite Rihanna songs ever, just sums up her as an artist really
April 2, 20205 yr She was right when she said that Rihanna reign just won’t let up in this song. Rih is only getting bigger and bigger as an individual. A true pop icon and a future legend. Loved Hard when it came out, the song and video captures her fearlessness as an artist perfectly.
April 2, 20205 yr For me this should have been a single. It was a single, just really late into the campaign and that's why it couldn't beat its initial #42 peak in the second part of its chart run. Great song, I didn't really like it initially but it's held up well 10 years on.
April 3, 20205 yr Photographs is Rihanna's worst ever song though! :o I really hate it lmao. This with the fact you think Rated R only has 3 worthy tracks... whatttttt the
April 4, 20205 yr This with the fact you think Rated R only has 3 worthy tracks... whatttttt theRe-read :P "3 tracks I don't really go back to" aha!
April 5, 20205 yr Author It was a single, just really late into the campaign and that's why it couldn't beat its initial #42 peak in the second part of its chart run. Great song, I didn't really like it initially but it's held up well 10 years on. It was pushed as a single in August wasn't it? My mistake. Got playlisted by Radio 1.
April 11, 20205 yr I love Hard  And the visual too. It did deserve better than the peak it got but I think within the fanbase / navy it’s generally well received. Rated R really was that era for me! So striking visually and sonically so different and mature to everything she’d done previously to that.
