In my opinion, this is Alexandra's best song. It was always the highlight from her debut album for me and gave me HUGE 'We Break The Dawn' by Michelle Williams vibes (which was one of my songs of 2008). That pulsing, 80's inspired synth bassline is undeniable. I was ecstatic to see that they released this as the 3rd single and gave it a "single mix" because they realised that to get people talking about it and purchasing it, they needed to remix it somewhat. Is this one of the earliest "single mixes", where they added a rapper (which really became common in the 2010's!)? An absolute STORMER of a pop song. I am surprised it finished out the top Alexandra Burke single as I assumed it was going to be 'Bad Boys' tbh! I’m surprised that they didn’t try and get Alex a Xmas track tbh so she’d always get some form of chart success each year. Leona will always get that now thanks to One More Sleep.
