Posted April 10, 20205 yr Hi all, I hope no one minds putting this here! I’m doing some classic albums reviews in the 00s Rewind forum and I’ve started off with Pink’s I’m Not Dead! Please feel free to come along and share your thoughts! http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=232413 Edited April 10, 20205 yr by Leanne 🧘🏻♀️
April 13, 20205 yr I’m Not Dead seems to be the fan favourite album I’d say like if you’re a massive Pink fan the chances are that’s your favourite album by her. I love all her albums bar her debut so I do think it’s a strong album but I just don’t like Stan it the way the fan base seem too. I think Stupid Girls is one of my least favourite things she’s ever done but Who Knew really saved the era for me and is what made me buy the album. There’s some tracks on there I love like Long Way to Happy and Runaway being my favourites of the non singles. Nobody Knows is also amongst my favourites on here and is sort of the forgotten single of that era I’d say but it’s one of her best for me underrated and deserved better. Stuff like Cuz I Can and Fingers though I tend to skip. Its perhaps a tad too long as an album? It’s a special album at times and it’s probably the album what’s kept her to be relevant today as she could’ve went a whole other way if she followed Try This up with something else. I think this album is kind of like the album the label likely wanted to follow Misundastood.
April 14, 20205 yr Author I’m actually getting upset that anyone thinks the album is less than 11/10.
