A little Hallucinate update:

iTunes #10

Spotify #150

Apple Music #78

YouTube #52

It’s doing really well on Spotify without any support from Hot Hits UK or Today’s Top Hits.

Yeah, it doesn’t even feel like it’s got much of a push and it’s nearly top 40. I really think people are underestimating how well this could’ve done but it’ll be drowned it in a few weeks :(

agreed!

Up to #49 on the official chart! It’s now the highest Dua track on the chart so should be able to complete a decent chart run even when the Levitating remix drops! Also up to R1 A-List so hopefully it can get a top 40 peak! I’d love both songs to simultaneously do well. I think that UK radio and the public are supporting Hallucinate enough already that it won’t completely flop whilst Levitating takes the limelight.

how can Dua be the most streamed female artist on Spotify but STILL be snubbed from playlists just because she released an album

it makes zero sense

It's doing VERY well on Spotify for the continuing lack of Hot Hits UK! Glad it looks pretty likely to bag itself a top 40 placing just ahead of the remix album dropping
It's frustrating. I believe this could be a 'Watermelon Sugar' sized hit if it wasn't for Spotify being such dicks.

I think that's bit of a stretch considering Watermelon Sugar exploded after the release of the video which helped a lot...unfortunately for Hallucinate that chance is already ruined with animated video.

All I hoped is Top 20 if I am honest based on her name alone and how successful this era started!!!

Sort of, actually.

I mean, it's true that the music video of "Watermelon Sugar" helped the track as you said, but Columbia (Harry's label) began to push the song on Spotify's playlists too, which is something Warner hasn't done for Dua so far and I doubt that the animated video was the reason of that.

This is doing really well on Spot for a song not on HHUK.
Almost like it's not just throwaway gay fodder and it's properly connecting with those who are hearing it because it's an undeniably huge song!
