September 12, 2024Sep 12 Yeah the overall reception from the fans has been quite 'meh'... there have been so many variants of the same 10 songs lol They should have given Spiceworld a try at least, I'm not sure that album has had many vinyl variants beyond its 2020 release (black vinyl, standard) and the Spiceworld25 variants It is not like the Spice25 variants are all gone either lol plenty still available all over the HMV/Rough Trade and their own website. So why not try something different?... Spiceworld25 with Step to Me on it (after Denying) would have BANGED and gotten the fans to buy it at least...

October 19, 2024Oct 19 The clear vinyl of Spice for National Album Day is out today. Like honestly who cares anymore? How many versions of the same tracklist record can you release? I’ll always love their moment in time but tbh I’m so over them now :rolleyes:
October 20, 2024Oct 20 (Maybe I bought it in the London HMV :P ) I am visiting London and decided to get it but was almost put off by the price - at £35 for a vinyl that is only different in its colour from the others available (and slightly cheaper!), was quite a hard sell even for a fan like me. I wouldnt be surprised if this edition doesnt sell well at all, the fandom is pretty 'meh' about it... There were also various copies of the standard Spice, the Spiceworld and Spiceworld25 vinyls and the GH available, all around the £29 price tag... It is good to see them so widely available but at that price, I wonder how much people are actually buying those

I’ll wait for this to reduce in price :whistle: Interesting thing about this variant (to me x) is that the back cover has been updated to show the EMI logo. The 2016 black/2019 white versions had the Virgin logo.
