Yeah, I mean the live version. Also, the AI one is pretty good that I'm content. My ranking of wanting to hearing the unreleased tracks

1) Go, Go, Go

2) Too Hot

3) Treasure

4) W.O.M.A.N.

This is probably my ranking too!

But I would also love to hear demos from the Darkchild and Jam/Lewish sessions, as well as the songs from the post tour 1998 sessions they did with Biff in Dublin... URGH!

  • From their mailer. What the hell...

  • To me, it's kinda like let's choose the worst picture and see if our brand can just sell on its own (apparently, not!). It's like how??? Did they not see the picture?? None of them looked any good, Em

Changing the colour of vinyl & the postcards but not changing what a lot of fans actually wanted to be changed lol, the front cover.

Seriously we need names of who’s in charge because they really are so bad at their jobs. Just hire the Girls Aloud team!

Anyway I’m still getting it because that red marble is pretty lol

I wonder if the digital release will have anything else new or nothing at all

As far as we know, the Girls Aloud management team were very involved PLUS Nicola was also part of the curating team, picking tracks from the vaults and promoting....

It is dissapointing if this is all we are getting and I will eventually get it but wont rush to it

(It does look gorgeous though!)

I wasn't sure if they'd actually be bothering with this, it very much feels like an album they and everyone involved with it want to forget happened.

Since the vinyl is starting to hit online shops, I would imagine they will come out with an annoucement today or tomorrow... But at this point I am not even expecting a new digital release ☹️

Well, this seems to confirm that a vinyl is all they're doing to mark this anniversary. Sigh...

The girls themselves and their team are pathetic.

So there’s no digital version at all? The vinyl looks pretty but really don’t know if I’ll bother

^ I doubt it, unless they're saving announcing that until after they've got people pre-ordering this vinyl. Although I'm definitely not holding my breath cry I think this may well be it.

What a let down! Personally I won't be supporting this as a full price item (I might buy it at some point in the future if it gets a price reduction).

The choice of photos for the postcards is so incongruous. Nothing to do with the Forever era at all. If anything they belong to the later part of the Spiceworld era. I'd like to know how they landed on using these pictures. Were they the cheapest to licence? Is it just that the people involved in creating this item didn't care if the pictures belong to the era or not? There's many photoshoots from 2000 they could have used for this. Heck, even a 1999 photoshoot would fit better - at least they'd be from the time they were actually recording this album.

I can't imagine this is going to sell much or re-enter the UK chart. If it couldn't do that in 2020 as a first-time on vinyl release, I don't see why this would do much better. I mean, I guess we'll see.

The most laughable thing about this announcement isn't the vinyl, but this...

Them acknowledging that they know what fans want but "aren't able to give [us] that" is an extremely bizarre admission to make in a mailer. Why aren't they?

I truly fear that the Christmas "watch this space" will end up being "WOMAN - Live from Christmas in Spiceworld 1999". I wouldn't know whether to laugh or cry if that happens...!
