I will give them a go seeing you were the first to post recommendations.

Had a quick listen, I dream is the better of the 2, ok ballad, I got tiny little reminder of Martine mccutcheon perfect moment from it. Be careful wuldnt be for me it has that same type of sound from the singles on her debut which I didnt like at all.

I have given time to the songs on offer from this era a few times at different occasions and with the exception of This Is It everything is bland and forgettable.

An era I understand why it flopped based on what it offered musically.

I Dream isnt terrible to be fair, I'm gonna play some other songs later to see if there is anything I can say I cant believe I missed out on this!

Gave the album a full stream today - I probably haven’t listened to it in full from start to finish since it was released despite buying the re-issue etc.,

Bless her for trying something different with this album - L&K despite a success was generally panned at the time and she was clearly keen to emerge out of Kylie’s shadow just a shame this album didn’t work the way she intended.

This inspired me to put it on my stereo system - I just discovered that I hadn't unwrapped the reissue (I guess because it probably got uploaded to MM and I didn't have a proper stereo system). Honestly, I like Tonight's Temptation - it wouldn't have been a bad single tbh. If there's anything wrong with the album it's the fact that Minogue fans just don't generally like when they attempt R&B.
Have listened to tonight's temptation would prefer be careful, i put be careful on again as the better be nice nice better think twice better think careful stayed a little in my head after listening to it earlier. Be careful could have been helped if it had a faster beat through out, but good remixes could give it some potential.

Be Careful had a Eric Kupper radio edit - iirc I think it might've been penciled in as a single before Love's On Every Corner bombed?

I just think the change in sound/image came so quickly after ‘Love & Kisses’ that she alienated her fan base before she had really established herself as an artist. Moving into this kind of sound certainly could have worked for album 3?

Also I feel quite sorry for Dannii seeing her perform ‘This Is It’ - it’s clearly not the direction she wanted to go in at the time but it was a success.

Really like this edit  I still think MCA killed any chance of Dannii making a success of this era after releasing LOEC in December :drama: I’m almost certain any other time of the year without the clutter of Christmas releases it could have gone Top 20.

Honestly, they could've at least marketed Love's On Every Corner with a cheerier image to help her transition. I think the more serious attempt at R&B/house plus that god-awful emo goth kid at school that refuses to was their hair killed it dead. At its heart it's still a club track and they should've promoted that.

The start of this era certainly wasn’t Dannii’s finest look!

I really like the video for LOEC though, however it didn’t match the song very well and as you say it’s still essentially a pop/dance track.

Eric Kupper remix def adds to the song, i can see the single potential in this version as its a more uptempo beat to it. I think there are similarities between her debut and get into you, there does seem to be progression but not enough of it. This is it though stands out, good in my case as i like the song, but bad in that nothing else on the album is like it. Its a bit like 2 hearts on Kylies x, nothing else on the album is of the same style.
Lucky tonight, isnt much but Wish You'd Stop Wishing isn't to bad, listening to a few songs today i keep getting Martine Mc Cutcheon vibes from songs only Martine nailed it a bit better on her debut album.

If Dannii had more songs similar to This Is It her earlier work would have more appeal.

Love and Kisses and Get Into You will never measure up as albums.

Girl and Neon Nights more outline the potential Dannii had and as albums, have great merit.

U can get that be careful remix on the deluxe CD

Ah I still have a lot of love for ‘Love & Kisses’ such an innocent pop album apart from the dodgy McDonalds Beef lyrics

I love Love and Kisses !!

Such fond memories .
