I miss post album singles being a major thing.

 

Ariana definitely could’ve gotten some with thank u, next era especially!

 

I do feel like both Dua and The Weeknd could get one with their eras if the single is pushed by the time Don’t Start Now and Blinding Lights are less popular. It seems now that performances or a big video impact can help out with singles taking off post album release but now it’s sort of more common to get more from an album before it’s released when in the sales era you’d tend to get like one or two singles max then the campaign begun after album release idk.

 

 

I think BMH has got a bit swallowed up in DSN and Physical's success. Still, three top 10 hits already from one album is fantastic. :clap: I just hope she is able to find success with any future singles off the album.

The Drake mixtape really didn't preform as well on streaming as I was expecting. He's already lost the #1 on US Spotify as well.
Toosie Slide is down to #2.

Best bet would be the Justin/Ariana song I reckon, unless that underperforms then could be Say So if the remix holds up well next week

With sales only going to be around 40-45k this week so any half decent release will have a chance of a NE at no1.
Regard & Raye so close to the top 100. :drama: It's a shame the Tiesto/Becky Hill track is looking to be a flop. It screamed hit imo. :(

Sure Bieber/Ariana is gonna go straight at #1, heard it's like a copycat of Ed's perfect :D

I don't think there's ever been a confirmed date for the Gaga/Ariana song or even confirmation that it's being released before the album at all.

this mixtape's not really comparable to More Life, that release felt more like an album (even if it's officially only a mixtape/'playlist') whereas this is literally just made up of leaks and throwaways.

 

a more apt comparison would be If You're Reading This It's Too Late.

Having heard this Drake mixtape now there aren't really many songs on there that sound like enduring hits ('Toosie Slide' is basically the only one), it's very obvious that it's a collection of throwaways. Probably fair to say it's still been a bit of an underperformance even considering but I'm not surprised that people aren't going back to these songs as much as those on previous projects!
