Posted May 2, 20205 yr For Round 1 - Gerald and myself were both very much sold on Where Have You Been as Rihanna’s entry. We both wanted to choose a hit (and were lucky she has so many) but also wanted to save signature hits and major favourites for later down the line. Support and opinions are very much welcome for later rounds depending how long we last. Bring it on. #ThatRihannaReignJustWontLetUp
May 2, 20205 yr While it's not a personal favourite of mine, 'Where Have You Been' is about the level of hit that we'd expect in the first round and it's loved on here isn't it - so a good shout I think!
May 2, 20205 yr I love WHYB tbh so I'd say it's a good choice! It's not a polarising song on here and isn't overrated either.
May 3, 20205 yr WHYB is a good choice for this round tbh. Not a personal RiRi fave of mine, but it reaches out and was definitely a big enough hit to branch out further and get a lot of people who don't frequent the forum on board.
May 3, 20205 yr I still find Where Have You Been extremely grating tbh, it feels like a big risk for the first round where songs like Needed Me, Stay or You Da One might fare better

May 3, 20205 yr Good choice, Where Have You Been is safe for the first few rounds. Although nothing would surprise me after Love On the Brain going out in Round Three last year :drama: What's that I see, I think it's taste flying out the window x The problem with Rih is she has such a RICH singles discography it's easy to pick a successful song but just as easy to pick a song that won't do well. May 3, 20205 yr Love On The Brain doing so bad in round 3 was one of the biggest and most heart breaking surprises of the last game! I was GUTTED. I genuinely did not understand wtf happened!

May 7, 20205 yr Author Rihanna made it through to round two so we now have to select one of her lead singles! I’m leaning towards Russian Roulette as I know it does have a fan base on here but it also means saving some of her bigger lead singles for later rounds. I’d probably say We Found Love is a no go this early. Pon De Replay I feel would be the biggest risk though.
May 7, 20205 yr Without knowing what the future rounds are, I'd say Umbrella, Only Girl and WFL shouldn't be touched this soon. :lol: PDR is a bop but I don't know if its appreciated as much these days - same with SOS. You're probably right with Russian Roulette. It stands out. The only other good option imo is Diamonds. Work would be a no go on this forum. :lol:

May 7, 20205 yr Author I’m confident at a single elimination meaning anything could get through but I’d be wary of using Pon De Replay or Work. Saying that Works still in the current ANTI survivor at the near half way point :lol:
May 7, 20205 yr Anyone of Pon De Replay (I think it'd be fine!) SOS or Russian Roulette seem good to me. All the others have major potential for the future so don't lose them early x
