Release of the vinyls.

Shame they hugely dropped the ball on that one and prevented themselves achieving their first #1 album.

That would have I assume mean pushing the whole release back, and I know I'd take the album releasing a month earlier over a #1.

It will feel weird having Doja and Megan in the top 5 - or even top 3!

We love to see it though. Talent winning!

Three charity singles in a row to number one maybe. Wonder will there be another one out next week.

it's not that Slide is offensive

it's more like it's barely a song

someone reading a list of instructions on how to do a dance on Tiktok

with zero passion and the most possible monotonic voice

is this really a song? :D

All it needed was a bit of a dance beat to it and it would have been the new Cha Cha Slide!

It would have been their second #1 album, they got there with 'First Impressions Of Earth' in 2005. Does look very much like the delayed vinyl release probably cost them the #1 indeed though, they were less than 4k off in that first week and are on nearly 4k for this week already.

I totally forgot about that era. Damn

'You Only Live Once' was a brilliant track.

Drake's mixtape hasn't boosted him that much week-on-week: he was on 23.4k last Tuesday, "only" 1.9k up. Say So wouldn't have made #1 even without the mixtape release, which is some sort of comfort :')
DCL-2 | Song has declined for two consecutive weeks.

24kGoldn - CITY OF ANGELS

BENEE feat. Gus Dapperton - Supalonely

Doja Cat - Boss Bitch

Doja Cat - Say So

Harry Styles - Adore You

Jax Jones & Martin Solveig present Europa with RAYE - Tequila

Khalid & Disclosure - Know Your Worth

Lil Mosey - Blueberry Faygo

Out of these, only Say So is looking to avoid ACR at this current moment.

Boss Bitch need to get a boost from somewhere, I feel like it could get a better peak once it gets the post-Say So promo
I wonder if Drake will fall faster than expected and Dua could maybe squeeze another week at #1 before the 1975
I think I over estimated Drakes sales in the albums I assumed he’d be on around double that so far!

I think that's around what I expected for him, it's hard to sell any more than that without physicals!

I think that's around what I expected for him, it's hard to sell any more than that without physicals!

See with him being more of a streamer I didn’t think the physicals difference would affect him the way it would someone like 1975 or 5Sos who do sell physicals in week one.

However I think Drakes second week sales won’t drop off too much to what they are this week as he’s a big streaming act.

two female rappers in the top 3 must be a first? great to see, even if Say So has got a bit old for me now.

Drake seems to be dropping off rather quickly, but #1 even for 1 week with lowish sales is amazing for an album of throwaways anyhow.

That's fair actually, I just assumed that would be the case given that Scorpion opened here with 64k - though I guess that had significantly more hype with the big singles all that year.

but urban artists in general and Drake in particular never do anything on physicals

that affects mostly indie/pop artists

urban fans stream (mainly) or download

DLDT is not at all comparable to Scorpion considering it's a mixtape - I'm sure the proper album coming this summer will sell considerably more (but probably not nearly as much as Scorpion anyway because of the sales climate)
