Track 1 - Better The Devil You Know

What an album opener and song to kick off the ROL campaign! Huge international hit going Top 10 in UK, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland & Australia.

Better The Devil You Know, Kylie classic.

Kylie really started to take control of her style and music with Better The Devil You Know, it's a true anthem and direction that paid off long term for Kylie.

This was the real start of sexy Kylie.

A huge kylie classic and really has survived the test of time and such a signature kylie song. I wonder when kylie released this did she ever think how loved it still would be 30 years later

It was also prob the first single that helped give kylie some credibility which she had got little of up until its release

Did anyone go to the Rhythm of Love tour?

The ROL tour missed out the UK and Europe and was for Australia and Asia only.

I remember how risky it was for Kylie to make this move at the time with BTDYK and all the media going wild for ‘sexy Kylie’ Seems so tame and pure pop looking back on it now.

Have always loved devil and still do, it will always be right up there with kylies very best, it peaked at number 4 here in Ireland and deserved much more but it still gets plaved on radio to this very day

Its very tame looking at it now

This should have become a number 1.

Times change unknowingly and quickly with style.

i wonder why they didnt tour the uk with the tour?

She was huge in Asia and the album done well over there so I think with all her other commitments she could only make it work for Australia/Asia.

Was always disappointed this didn’t go top 3, I remember it climbing on its 2nd week and was expecting the same to happen again on its third week.
This was Kylies first step in the disco genre and which the artwork pays homage from.

Love SBIT - I didn’t appreciate it as much as I should have at the time, Kylie’s sound had moved forward so fast it felt for me - it’s now one of my favourite songs and overall albums.

I remember at the time at school everyone was saying she was saying I wanna f**k and not funk, I clearly remember people talking about this for ages

step back in time equalled the same chart peak as devil here in Ireland going to number 4.
