PWL served some brilliant album tracks with Kylie.

Amazing and so underrated at the time.

I believe that Sophie's version of "Secrets" was pulled due to lack of airplay on radio & music channels. Plus "Love's Unkind" only managed a #21 peak, so doubt this would have done any better, so they just pulled the release & dropped her.

her music career was short loved but i would have liked to have heard more from her

Count The Days is a good song but the wrong song to close the album which houses many greater songs in great numbers.

The accolade for closing the album should have belonged to the much superior Things Can Only Better.

The music industry was brutal back then

Poor Sophie - to scrap it after a video had been made and physical copies pressed up was harsh, although I guess it did have a ‘Number 36 Smash’ feel to it :kink:

Again CTD is a good song but ends up being on of the weaker songs on the album due to the overall quality of ROL. Makes me wonder how ROL essentially flopped :drama:

kinda had forgotten about this it’s the song I remember least from the album

Its not that its bad songs, its just the least memorable from the album

And we’re on the final track

Track 11 - Rhythm Of Love

i never understood it as it was and is a brilliant album with 4 great singles but kylies popularity was in decline and her change in style alienated some of her younger fan base

Rhythm of Love does have a flaw here and there but it's a strong offering from Kylie housing numerous top quality songs.

It is a well crafted album that proves pop has its home and can age as good as any other genre.

its full of top quality songs and an album i wouldn't say no to getting toured in full but id say the same for enjoy yourself.
This party has been highly enjoyable serving a nice trip back to the great music served to us from Kylie 30 years ago.

Such a shame - although at the time I bought the singles and still loved Kylie but was growing up so my fever pitch Kylie interest started to pass, ‘Lets Get To It’ era almost totally passed me by apart from again supporting the singles and album and going to 1 show of the tour.

ROL is a nice song to close the album - inoffensive.

Overall such a solid pop album that was underrated at the time but stands the test of time as a great album.
