We just want to get a feel for what you'd like to see next from the forum. I feel we're overdue a singles rate (as it's been over 2 years) but I'm keen to know if you want (or don't) want the Love Regenerator project included with what we've had so far.

 

If you've chosen 'Something else', what would you like to see instead?

A nice big encompassing singles date would be a great idea! If not that then a rate of either of the above albums would be great too - it would be nice to see what Buzzjack rates the Funk Wav Bounces Album 3 years later

 

 

A singles rate conveniently forgetting all the songs no one likes so that if there's a similar theme in a potential AF Idol 3.0, you'll be prepared :kink:

I think it would be better to separate into two rates: main singles rate and then a rate with Love Regenerator & all the remixes, production credits etc (or even have Love Regenerator separate to that)

We did a singles rate last year.

 

We did all the album rate except 18 Months and I don't remember a ICD one. A remixes rate would be good too.

We did a survivor? The last singles rate was in Feb 2018

 

The only album we’ve ever rated recently is Motion to my knowledge because I ran it with Dan :kink:

 

If the other albums have been rated I don’t see them/they were many years ago? In fact, I think Motion is the only album to have been rated and it’s been done twice

we rated RFTW recently too. ^

I was thinking recently about rating Calvin as a Dance Vocalist, but not in the series I’m running in the Dance forum, but just rating his vocals in songs like Feel So Close, I’m Not Alone and My Way along with ones he has featured on like Benny Blanco – I Found You.

Maybe that could work better? Have a "Production Credit Rate" and a "Singles Rate" separate? Including Love Regenerator songs as singles.

 

I mean we could go all out and have a bunch of different rates and then compile them at the end, maybe then the full rate list would look less daunting and you can just go to a certain thread whenever you like and rate as you go...

 

eg.

- Singles Rate (main Calvin lead singles + Love Regenerator)

- Features Rate (Off The Record, I Found You, etc.)

- Remixes Rate (Spectrum, The Weekend, etc.)

- Production Rate (IWNLYD, Ole, Holiday, etc.)

 

= Combine all at the end for a full scale rate results + post the individual result lists at the end. So then you can accurately see which of Calvin's remixes are rated best then compare those results to those of his actual singles.

 

I mean this is all brainstorming but it'd be a good way to drum up some more activity :D
