Here we go :music:

One of the most recognisable and iconic opening bars in music history? Yes x

This song was a phenomenon, there's no other word for it! The way everyone in my school was instantly obsessed with Britney and this song. I remember bringing my CD single into school and most of my class gathered around it in awe  It was very...

Just an incredible impact. Britney really hooked me in from day 1 and I've never stopped stanning!

The middle 8 (or what some would refer to as the bridge) is such a moment :cheeseblock:

Just one of the best songs of all time

The Stop Remix is one of my favourite Britney songs overall. I like the album version too, I knew this version before I had the Stop Remix (I got into Britney around the time Toxic came out, didn't have the Stop Remix til the GH came out!) so it brings back some fond memories!

Onto another great song! The single choices from this album were fantastic, bar FTBOMBH obvz

The single mix > the album version though :o It gives it that extra punch! Still a classic though. Another iconic video mainly down to "OMG IT'S SABRINA!!!"

The album version omg~

I feel like this version gets overlooked (and to an extent... rightly so, The Stop Remix is the version). However this first version is still extremely catchy and has a different, but still very enjoyable vibe to it!

When I bought the album (11 year old me made such a great choice to spend my pocket money on it x) this was absolutely my instant other favourite beyond ...Baby One More Time. So this version does hold some nice early memories for me, in the few months before The Stop Remix actually existed.

This production seems a lot more 90s, whereas something about The Stop Remix was quite forward thinking into where music was going in the early 2000s, I think?

I remember being very obsessed with the music video. Britney and Sabrina?! A 90s match made in heaven!

This feels quite overlooked these days despite being a very successful follow-up release! It's such a cute track

I feel like this gets under looked too much! So cute and I was obsessed with this a LOT when I was younger. I used to watch her TOTP performance of it all the time :') I also used to think Britney dated her dancer coz he was always with her in performances and this video. Which is iconic too! Plus her voice on this is lovely!

Iconic for the scratching of the vaginal area by her friend too :')

A song Britney herself apparently isn't keen on?

It's an incredibly cute song  I suppose it was a good choice for second single because it's still great pop, but a completely different mood to ...Baby One More Time. This was a pretty huge smash in the UK, #3 but managed to go Gold - really great going in 1999!

One her most memorable videos too. The whole thing from beginning to the end is just... so 90s  The dance routine on the pier though, the white outfits...

Definitely a lovely song and a highlight from this album.

Funkney <3, that intro always hits me

04 Soda Pop

Obviously this has nothing on the previous three tracks but Soda Pop is so much fun  one of the tracks that really sticks out from when I was younger!!

Omg... Soda Pop :cheeseblock:

This is certainly a guilty pleasure sort of song. I remember initially being a bit "wtf" at it, even at the age of 11  ...but there's so many catchy elements to it. Her vocals on this song are quite unlike how she tends to sing... that deep register is extremely underutilised in her career as a whole!

This song is the definition of bop. Like, you don't do much but bop to it! I'm not even sure what this song is about tbh lmao. But it's cute and infectious.
