1. Name a Sugababes single released at a time Heidi Range was part of the groups line up.

TOP ANSWER

Push The Button; paulgilb, xajnipi, chrisssmith276, spiceboy, girlsaloudjunkie, n4yr, Scene, Dobbo, LewisGT, TheHitParade, Sarah, (1O POINTS)

Freak Like Me; dj_tim_e, awardinary, Vibe, jimwatts, King Rollo, Riser, dan-G, PeteFromLeeds, Dan17F1, XhannahlongX, MrAndrewMan (10 POINTS)

Round Round; Viper* StoneDragon, (1 POINT)

Hole In The Head; mick745,

So we have a double top answer here!

Both Push The Button and Freak Like Me pick up 10 points each.

I expected Freak Like Me to top this question with it being a real turnaround for the group and the first single to feature Heidi.

Every song mentioned for this question was a #1 by the group (which all featured Heidi as part of the line up!)

Damn it - messed that one up! I put Push the button and then changed it to Round Round thinking it was her first single with them. Of course it was Freak like me!!

The Club Is Alive JLS; mick745,

Quite a clear winner on this round with X Factors most famous non winner the global superstars One Directions debut single becoming the most popular answer here. Funnily no other #1 song by them was mentioned here

Happy to see the Diana Vickers responses; a song i still LOVE!

It pained me having to go for that song as I hate it but One Direction have always been the most famous non-winners, so yay for it being the top answer by a mile.
Yay smashing it so far. :cheer: I really hope there aren't a couple of answers that will sabotage my chances like the last FF.

3. Not including Dua Lipa future nostalgia, name a studio album by a female artist what spent more than one week at #1 in total (consecutive or non-consecutive) but didn’t debut at #1.

(all info here is from OCC so this is from when they reached top 100! For some albums the exact number of weeks may be off if they spent weeks between 101-200 but here goes.....)

TOP ANSWER - The Fame – Lady Gaga; girlsaloudjunkie, J🐠hq, M4NGO, Bjork, West, n4yr, Riser, Dobbo, PeteFromLeeds, Bre, StoneDragon, Sarah, (11 POINTS) (7 weeks at #1 - took 12 weeks to reach #1)

Halycon Ellie Goulding; xajnipi, andrew, musicismypassion, King Rollo, (3 POINTS) (3 weeks at #1 took 65 weeks to reach #1)

Loud - Rihanna; awardinary, Scene, dan-G, Dan17F1, (3 POINTS) (3 weeks at #1 took 7 weeks to reach #1)

Back to Black – Amy Winehouse Vibe, jimwatts, XhannahlongX, (2 POINTS) (not including dlx which charted seperately) (6 weeks at #1 took 10 weeks to reach #1)

Come On Over Shania Twain; dj_tim_e, Viper* (1 POINT) (11 weeks at #1 took 74 weeks (inside top 100) before reaching #1)

Like A Virgin – Madonna; chrisssmith276, spiceboy, (1 POINT) (2 weeks at #1 took 44 weeks to reach #1)

No Angel – Dido Mack, LewisGT, (1 POINT) (7 weeks at #1 took 15 weeks to reach #1)

Let Go Avril Lavigne; TheHitParade (3 weeks at #1 took 19 weeks to reach #1)

Come Away With Me Norah Jones; paulgilb (4 weeks at #1 took 44 weeks to reach #1)

Kylie; Kylie Minouge Jade (6 weeks at #1 took 7 weeks to reach #1)

NO ANSWER MrAndrewMan

Incorrect; Diva – Annie Lennox, mick745 (debuted at #1)

One of the harder questions for this quiz! And many iconic albums mentioned amongst the responses.

The top answer comes from Buzzjack fave and the woman behind the current UK #1 single; Lady Gaga and her debut album The Fame.

The now iconic album debuted at #3 before peaking at #1 12 weeks later where it would go on to spend four consecutive weeks there and then another 3 non consecutive weeks with the help of the The Fame Monster re release. The Fame is Gaga's only #1 album what didn't actually enter at #1! Interestingly on the singles chart she has the opposite history with only one of her UK #1 singles entering there and the rest all being climbers.

Actually stunned Back To Black didn't debut at #1. :o

:nocheer: at The Fame being such a popular answer. Loud was the only one I could think of and I even had to double check. I vaguely remembered both Loud and Only Girl debuting at #2 and climbing to #1.

I'm surprised anyone went for anything other than 'What Makes You Beautiful' for number 2, 1D are the most famous non-winners of the X Factor by a mile and a half!

Bad Romance, Lady Gaga, spiceboy, Mack, jimwatts, King Rollo, (3 POINTS)

The Fear Lily Allen awardinary, mick745, (1 POINT)

I Gotta Feeling; Black Eyed Peas Viper*, MrAndrewMan (1 POINT)

Just Dance, Lady Gaga, chrisssmith276

Killing In The Name; Rage Against The Machine Dan17F1,

Replay, iyaz musicismypassion,

Incorrect; Baby One More Time Britney Spears; Sarah,

2009 really was such a vintage year for music but by far the most popular answer here again goes to Lady Gaga with what was for nearly a decade her biggest selling UK single! It has now been overtaken by Shallow with streams combined but Poker Face is top answer here with over half of you going for it!.

from the wording I thought question 2 meant a solo contestant
3 out of 4 top answers for me so far, it will probably all go downhill from here but I'm just gonna bask in that glory for a while *.* I had a pretty good idea 'Poker Face' would be the top answer for that question but didn't think it would be quite that popular!

5. Name any uk top 40 single released by a member of one direction as a solo artist (accepting answers what have featured artists on just as long as it’s not an actual 1d song)

TOP ANSWER Adore You, Harry Styles, chrisssmith276, awardinary, girlsaloudjunkie, J🐠hq, Mack, jimwatts, Bjork, West, mick745, n4yr, Scene, dan-G, LewisGT, Bre, MrAndrewMan (14 POINTS)

Sign Of The Times, Harry Styles paulgilb, xajnipi, dj_tim_e, spiceboy, King Rollo, Dobbo, PeteFromLeeds, XhannahlongX, Sarah, (8 POINTS)

Pillowtalk Zayn, andrew, Vibe, M4NGO, Riser, StoneDragon, (4 POINTS)

Watermelon Sugar; Harry Styles; TheHitParade, Jade, (1 POINT)

This town Niall; musicismypassion,

Slow hands Niall; Viper*

Falling; Harry Styles; Dan17F1,

Harry's monster smash Adore You is the top answer this round! I think the fact its still charting and has been a recent monster hit really helped this out!

Louis and Liam weren't mentioned at all in the responses here.

Had i been playing this i'd have went for PILLOWTALK just because it was the first solo release by a member. Really thought that was gonna be top answer!

Did someone think this was Pointless? :kink:

Oops just seen it was actually a 2010 number one too!

But as nobody else said it, if doesn’t affect the score.
