June 6, 20205 yr Ruin does seem like a more fitting opener for the album - the perils of the streaming age meaning tracklists are manipulated :( This is a v raw and powerful D:
June 6, 20205 yr The original opener *.* Great vocals on this one, and probably one of the album's best tracks. It's very bluesy~ Shawn, you regularly cross my mind x
June 6, 20205 yr Author Ruin does seem like a more fitting opener for the album - the perils of the streaming age meaning tracklists are manipulated :( Honestly this is such a pet hate for me - the way Spotify has the self-titled album track-listing is so :') too.
June 6, 20205 yr I think Mercy might be my second favourite on the album? That chorus is undeniable.
June 6, 20205 yr Author Mercy really is one of THE flawless songs in Shawn's discography  All of it is so emotional and powerful. Packs a punch every time I listen, and the video too.
June 6, 20205 yr Mercy was definitely an obvious single choice. This is a very melodramatic song (some of the lyrics!) but he sounds like he means every word, I enjoy the passion.
June 6, 20205 yr Treat You Better felt like a natural lead after Stitches, I don't like it quite as much as that but it's still great! Definitely the right choice of lead single  and my fave on the album!
June 6, 20205 yr :music: Better danny can :music: Bop! It proved that he was no one hit wonder and really helped establish him. This is 2xPlatinum in the UK :o Helped along by the ratios being a bit too generous back then, but regardless it was undeniably a huge hit.
June 6, 20205 yr Author Oooh wouldn't have pegged this as your favourite Bal :o (good choice though *.*) Honestly Treat You Better still sounds SO fresh and as good as the first listen. Such a brilliant song that really cemented his future as a massive star  And let us never forget:
