Omg the cat *shudders*

I can’t believe I didn’t know until lately that Rula from that iconic / hideous seen was on Corrie I always knew I recognised her and now I know we’re it’s from

Details of next week’s episodes

Good to get more civilian episodes and they seem to be right choices (I guess BB2 is more about that cast?), the box task is one of those where it actually IS a classic episode. idk why CBB7 is there and the George Galloway cat should have been the only episode for CBB4, it didn’t really need both.

I get why a best bit of each series would have been better for the general ciewers and also to celebrate the show but I’ve actually preferred having these episodes in full (even if they make no sense just randomly being dropped in). I feel the best bits have been played time and time again so it’s nice to have these extended reflections where you’re seeing parts and storylines that you haven’t seen since the episode first aired.

I’ve only seen the first part so far but it’s a revelation for me seeing CBB3 having only known about ‘yeah Jackie’ and John sitting in his pants. I love the bewilderment from Jackie and there must have been crisis talks with everyone wanting to walk

No BB5 or BB8 is a travisty. They really need to add another week or 2 worth of episodes. Hopefully based on the ratings they can do this.

They’re watching one of this week’s episodes on Celebrity Gogglebox!!!

Channel 4 firmly behind the show again, we love to see it

I think they were just young and impressionable girls. I think Grace deflected the hate she was getting on the outside onto an easy target which was Susie at the time.

Susie really wasn't great and I don't buy this victim thing some people try to push, she was RIDICULOUSLY boring and so desperate, who pays over £4k on f***ing Kit Kat bars to get on a show, there's rumours her husband paid off production too which doesn't sit right with me too well as she hardly made the most of her experience in there.

Agreed, thing is they were young whereas I think Susie just thought she was above everyone else and above it all, despite being the most desperate to get on the show? Grace was a bitch but at least it was entertaining, not excusing her being nasty or anything but when it's reality TV, I'd so rather watch the villain bitch than someone like Susie is just stuck up to be honest. I don't think some of the behaviour Nikki exhibited has aged well at all to be fair

I think they overlooked showing Charley's fake eviction :( That would have been so entertaining!

I swear she walked out to total silence and went “what’s going on where’s the cheers man” I loved Charley the way her and Chanelle argued constantly was hilarious.

The time she went out of the bedroom and went Posh Spice   to Chanelle

Then she lied and said she was adored by her fans and they were chanting her name  I loved her so much.

Charley was one of those series villains who was actually endearing to an extent too and she actually did have a good side as well. It was perhaps why she lasted so long in her series tbh as usually the “female villain” goes a lot earlier than what Charley did. I genuinely liked her she had a heart.

I think Charley could’ve put a lot of people in their place if she’d been in the series prior to it too

I find BB8 so underrated in the fanbase tbh i tend to see more positivity regarding BB9 and 10 but I definitely think 5-8 are like the best years. I think because the cast was entirely female on the launch for 8 it made for a great series entertainment wise as I think most of the time the big characters in there were mostly female ^_^ I think it’s why BB7 stands out a lot too as there was a lot of females in that house as well and yet despite the fact we had two males walk from the house before week twos eviction and then we had a male evicted via public vote in week two we ended up getting three female housemates to replace them in Aisleyne, Sam and then Susie (I include Sam in the females as at that time it’s how they wanted to be referred as ik they’re now happily living as a man).

Oh I always think BB8 gets a hard time - the first couple of weeks especially are GOLD.

I do think it tailed off a bit when Charley went though. Nicky from that series is possibly the most underrated housemate of all time, I love her.

Also a site called “Video Brother” has every UK full series on there for anyone wanting to rewatch what E4 aren’t showing.

Will have a look at that as it's great to know.

Perhaps on here over time we could do our own Buzzjacks BBUK rate. We’d probably have to do one for the. 4 era and one for the c5 era

There was one in 2018 but it never got finished. Maybe this rate could be revived rather than starting a new one.

I haven't watched any of these repeat shows yet. I should watch some of them as I liked the programme in its early days.

Looking at BB7, I don't think it's fair to shrug Grace and in particular Nikki's behaviour off due to their age as they were both 19/20 when the show aired. Nikki in particular was incredibly transphobic and ageist, and her treatment of Sam is something that even back then stuck in my head as being incredibly cruel and wrong. I always find it so baffling that she was so respected in the BB circle.

Nikki was a VILE housemate. In the first week when they all locked Shahbaz out in the garden it was her who said 'Why don't we steal his clothes? It will hurt him more!'. Yes, she was comical and was entertaining enough but an awful, awful person.
