June 16, 20205 yr Should the new Peter Gabriel album be expected to be higher up the midweeks than 47?
June 16, 20205 yr Should the new Peter Gabriel album be expected to be higher up the midweeks than 47? Not really, it was just a physical release this week of a compilation album from last year of songs for film soundtracks.
June 16, 20205 yr Awful for Example too. I legit thought he had enough of a fanbase to go top 40! He played two sold out shows at swg3 in Glasgow at the start of the year!

June 16, 20205 yr Could Black Eyed Peas, John Legend, Neil Young or Whitesnake chart high alongside Bob Dylan next week I wonder ? Wonder if we could have a battle for No 1?
June 16, 20205 yr I can't see any of those being high up, other than perhaps Neil Young. John Legend's only releasing digitally also, Whitesnake I can see going top 40 - I think Black Eyed Peas will miss the top 100.
June 16, 20205 yr I think Black Eyed Peas will miss the top 100. They deserve it. Bring Fergie back. 'RITMO' is good but 'MAMACITA' is horrible. Edited June 16, 20205 yr by Adelita
June 16, 20205 yr Dylan has lots of hardcore fans that buy everything he releases and this is his first proper album of originals in ages, I'd say sure #1 Neil Young is hard to say, cos his last albums did poorly but a few years back he was having top 10 easily so not sure what happened... but this album is a sorta lost album, can't recall the story but fans have been waiting like 40 years or something for this album... think Whitesnake could go top 10 too
June 16, 20205 yr I find it odd that poor weather reduced streaming, given COVID I'd have thought people would have stayed in and listened to music more? Although I guess you'd just Netflix and chill on a rainy day. If I'm not working I sit in garden in sun listening to music, if it's raining I sit inside watching Netflix so yeah I'm guessing that's the kind of trend going on with a lot of people just at a guess
June 16, 20205 yr Oh great to see chat about Labrinth! He's so underrated and 'Imagination & the Misfit Kid' was so excellent. Deserved MUCH MUCH MUCH better :( and of course LSD was fantastic. Him and Sia have some great songs together. Edited June 16, 20205 yr by ts7sfkptm
