July 25, 20206 yr I'm really happy for the both of them, it really does seem like hitting #1 means a lot to them. I've liked a lot of Joel Corry's stuff, yes it is super generic and tailor made to be used on Love Island, but I also feel there is a gap in the market for this type of music. I've always liked MNEK, it was a shame his solo album completely bombed. He can write great hits, I really hope this propels him back in to the spotlight if he can write himself a proper hit.

August 9, 20206 yr It’s certainly my favourite commercial dance hit for quite some time, the production is immaculate and MNEK’s vocals are so superior to the pitched down male vocals or babyish pitched up vocals that seem so prevalent in commercial dance at the moment.
