You could be forgiven for not knowing the name Zak Abel until the last year or so due to the high volume of dance features he’s put out there, and with some rather big names in the world of dance too. He has only had one Top 40 single as a feature with Gorgon City but that’s it, nothing else even in the Top 75 yet, but that soon could change as he continues to be a sought after dance vocalist. Here are his works to date;

Unmissable (with Gorgon City)

Higher (with Wookie)

Ten More Days (with Avicii)

Beautiful Escape (with Tom Misch)

Drink To You (with Jonas Blue)

The Power (with Duke Dumont)

Gotta Get Thru This (with DJ Spoony)

Bad (with Don Diablo)

Freedom (with Kygo)

Sad In Scandinavia (with Seeb)

Which of his current dance features is your favourite?

Which dance producers would you like to see him feature with in the future?

As a rising star I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before he gets back into the Top 40 again, and it’s great to see so many dance features in recent months despite lockdown. I’m sure he’s recorded for many more producers too. Here is my rating for his collaborative projects so far;

1. Sad In Scandinavia (with Seeb)
2. Unmissable (with Gorgon City)
3. Freedom (with Kygo)
4. Drink To You (with Jonas Blue)
5. The Power (with Duke Dumont)
6. Beautiful Escape (with Tom Misch)
7. Higher (with Wookie)
8. Gotta Get Thru This (with DJ Spoony)
9. Ten More Days (with Avicii)
10. Bad (with Don Diablo)

His dance features are being released at a rapid pace at the moment, I am sure there is plenty more to come from him in the future. Here are two dance producers I would tip him to record with soon – Cash Cash & Martin Jensen.

'Ten More Days' :heart:

taking my Avicii stan glasses off, my 2nd fave from that list would have to be 'The Power'

Its frustrating that he's never had a hit really as he's featured on some great treaks.

The Power for sure, with Bad in 2nd place

Both B.O.P.S
