I doubt it’s for The Search. It’s clear the album would’ve already been out or been about to come out without lockdown because they said we’d have it for the summer. I assume they’re going to into overdrive now to attempt to make up for lost time. They can film do album shoots and video shoots and finish the album and release it. They still can’t host live shows for a tv competition show.

They have said a track on the album is pretty much Touch 2.0 but i cant remember if they were talking about this single or not.

I think this one is the summery one, not the Touch one.

I hope they have something planned for this single, Anne Marie and Doja are dropping this friday and i think that has the potential to be big if the song is good and Dua is dropping the week after.

 

Now the girls have reunited and have started working again, they could be able to actually promote this single and do performances etc.. I really hope they have planned this one out as it could actually be big for them. Especially after the success of BUS and also the fact that its a summer bop.. People tend to love LM summer anthems :wub:

I think Hallucinate is just a quick UK single, shes dropping a collab with J Balvin and Bad Bunny on the 24th.

the single is coming next Friday, apparently, according to a friend who has heard the song. (I won't disclose who they work for but they're in a position to hear stuff early)

 

I didn't actually confirm the title of the song with them, but there was a rumour it was called Holiday, and given the snippet I heard (Literally 7 seconds) they're singing about holiday (Post Lockdown feeling I'm guessing) the snippet was Perrie during the chorus, I can hear Jesy too just as it ends doing ad-libs.

 

Production is very gorgeous, it's so fresh and summery. It has the understated "golden hour" summer feeling of Zara's TG4M and that sort of deep beat of Can't Feel My Face (that's the best way to describe it, it's like Little Mix on Can't Feel My Face but not as dark)

 

From the snippet, it doesn't sound like a massive thrashing club banger like Touch, Power or No More Sad Songs, picture it like a song you can listen to in the sun where you're just relaxing, it's not mid-tempo, definitely uptempo, just not as harsh. He was very excited about the fresh sound of the song. And from the snippet I heard it's going to be very good.

 

Apparently it's better than BUS. And they're finally releasing a summer song in summer!

 

I'm trying to pester him for another snippet, so hopefully it'll work. He doesn't know when the announcement or anything will be as that's not what his area of work is, however as its next week, I imagine it'll be tomorrow or Friday.
