I certainly hope so. Although it’s my least favourite single in a while, I would love it go top 10/15

They really should of released the video today, it would of been perfect timing IMO but i hope it comes next week and is good enough to have some sort of impact.

From an interview they did this week I think it’s going to be quite sensual, the video. I hope there’s more to it than just them sitting on the rocks posing as mermaids with the visual effects that Sophia Ray usually does.
I'm fairly confident this will be its peak week.

Considering its still gaining traction and climbing on the streaming charts on various platforms and there's still promotion to come and the video.. I'd say you're wrong.

I don't think 17 is horrific, as long as it's top 20.. although that's not very important considering th*nk about us ruined that streak.

I can't believe that GOD AWFUL 'Dancing In The Moonlight' cover charted above them. Gross.

I think it'll go up after the video, next week we have quite a few songs dropping, I suspect the Taylor songs will be below it. I'd say it can easily get up to top 10 in the next couple of weeks if they play their cards right.

27 on Apple Music. Soon to be overtaken by billie though, but still good!

I believe Break Up Song will leave the charts next week after 18 weeks. After it was moved down on Hot Hits, its streams on Spotify have decreased considerably. I hope when the album's released it can complete 20 weeks in the Top 100.

Yeah i’m sure it will do 2 more weeks when the album is out.

After a good day on Apple Music today due to the weather could we be in for a good spotify update tomorrow too? Let’s hope.
I really wish it'd get in the Top 50 on Spotify tomorrow. I'm guessing out of the new releases billie, maybe Sam and some of Beyoncé's tracks will be ahead. Anything else?

The thing is ultimately, the public perception of them is quite poor compared to how it was maybe two years ago and this song isn't exactly gonna win anyone around who's been turned off by them.

They need to SERIOUSLY up their game if they're gonna survive much longer.

I’d say the shower of shite label need to “up their game” rather than the girls. Their recent songs are fine. Break Up Song and Holiday are far superior to Woman Like Me, but the main difference is that WLM received fantastic Spotify support (which has been LACKLUSTRE with RCA). It’s no coincidence that they’ve struggled to get a big hit since they left Syco.

RCA are bloody useless! :(

I disagree they have been around 10 years now, LM5 was a complete change compared to all the other albums they have released (Genuinely feel they lost a lot of fans after it) WLM had a Nicki feature, hence the better impact on Spotify playlists.

It’s on HH UK, It’s high up on a lot of other playlists and high up on Apple playlists.

I just think music has moved on a bit, so many pop artists struggle now.

However, I’m confident The Search will give them a much needed boost in popularity again, whether it’s enough to create bigger hits who knows.

Little Mix were also heavily criticised for being sexual, Piers went on about it daily on social media and Good Morning Britain and this did them no favours.

45 on Spotify! That’s a really good jump again.

Edit: It got 134k streams too! Should get the top 50 boost tomorrow aswell.

That’s a bit more like it.

Hopefully it carries on climbing

Keep going please! :D

Where are we thinking for this weeks chart? A similar trajectory to BUS? (So 17 - 25 or something? Before stabilising and climbing back into the top 20 at some point?)

Honestly the matter of public perception being poor is mainly down to sexism and now as they go into their 30s ageism (it sounds ridiculous but it's just how it is, especially with girlgroups) so it sounds really unfair that they would need to put in the effort to revert it, besides the effort they already put into their music and promo (normally).

The've always been a guilty pleasure, which is unfair to their work.

I'm confident that The Search will show them for who they really are.

Hmm.. I hate to be that girl but this is really harsh and dare I say.. a little gross?

Public perception of them has changed, correct, but it was not down to them. Piers Morgan, a white right-wing man with a large following and is lauded for "kEepIng iT rEal", spent literally the entire month of November, and mostly December too, slating them on one of the UK's biggest, if not THE biggest, televised platforms. Sharing their pictures and consistently slating them, it's all down to sexism and how he wanted to control the narrative of the "feud".

To say that Little Mix are the ones who need to put the effort in to get the public to change their opinion of them is so incredibly sexist when it was a MAN who made that change. Little Mix have never been anything other than their authentic selves, so it doesn't really make sense to say that they should change it because then they'd be fake? And probably get called out for that too.

They're women in the industry, of course they're going to be painted badly, but they're also a girl group who have actual views and opinions and want to make a change, so they're penalised again. They don't need to change anything. They're in a natural decline that happens to literally all artists unless you're massive.. and even then no one is safe. Pop music isn't the norm anymore. They still sell, hell they're getting top 10s 9 years into their career. They don't need to change anything.
