July 17, 20205 yr Author Round 1's theme is Free Choice! Therefore any song can be chosen, but it's advisable to go with a strong choice (probably a single)! I had the idea to go with Vision of Love first, what with it being the song that kicked off her career 30 years ago. What do you guys think? I'd be grateful for your suggestions!

July 23, 20204 yr Author I'm happy that 'Prisoner' has been well received by quite a few of you! :cheer: 6gN6DKGEaVk I'm fairly certain that I had only heard 'Prisoner' a couple of times (many years ago) prior to revisiting it for this contest. I've heard it 6 times this month! *.* It makes me think that I should endeavour to listen to Mariah's albums again and make a note of the tracks I enjoy the most, so that I listen more often. No doubt she has some other hidden gems that I've been sleeping on for all these years.

July 23, 20204 yr Author 01 28 Mariah Carey - Prisoner :cheer: 28 voters out of 32 included Prisoner in their votes and contributed to Mariah winning Round 2 :o I really wasn't expecting that outcome. :wub: Round 3 is collaboration or remix - both of which Mariah has a countless number of. Suggestions are welcomed! I was hoping to send #Beautiful (feat. Miguel) - which was Mariah's most recent single to do rather well in charts worldwide. It's one of my ultimate favourites by her and it still comes across as being contemporary to me, even though it was released 7 years ago. It has quite a different vibe/structure to pretty much any other Mariah song. Any #Beautiful fans here?
