August 12, 20204 yr Author Hmm, bad round for Gorillaz (even though I thought I sent one of their best songs :( ) Downtempo round probably being filled with emotional ballads doesn't give me a whole lot of hope we can turn it around because I don't have many options, though I'll try: Would Empire Ants be downtempo? It certainly is about the most downtempo-y a Gorillaz song gets for most of its run, it just explodes into beautiful synths in its second half and while the main beat remains slow the side beats do get a fair bit of tempo. That's the sort of thing that could maybe win over voters if it's allowed. Beyond that my biggest ideas are Broken? O Green World?

There's those three, and then from the others we haven't used: Rhinestone Eyes (which I think I'll go for for the round after this), Superfast Jellyfish and Ascension I think are good huge choices. Not certain which to go for, I'll decide later on today.
August 18, 20204 yr Author Should have been a single: Rhinestone Eyes fits very well given how they planned it but before it could get the single treatment cancelled the era and moved onto Doncamatic (and thank god we all forgot that ever happened eh?) and is still one of my favourites. I don't think there's anything else that fits the bill quite as well.
