Rain On Me 1.3k bigger than last Thursday's update, please tell me there's a chance to avoid ACR (since I believe the remixes would not be able to give such a big increase in pure sales).

Last week's Thursday update had 2 days of Apple data missing, today's has none - we can't make comparisons as the data's inconsistent I'm afraid.

Thursday Top 40 Update

Missing Data: Spotify and YouTube (both for Wednesday)

Singles

8 DJ Khaled feat. Drake - GREECE *

10 DJ Khaled feat. Drake - POPSTAR *

20 Headie One & Drake - Only You Freestyle *

29 Drake feat. Giveon - Chicago Freestyle

4 Drake songs allowed?

Drake expected a Top 20 on a song he released on Monday?

He missed out on 3 days of sales/streams.

He's only the lead performer on one of those, he's allowed as many features as he likes.

2 actually. He’s a joint lead artist on the Headie One song

I think that only counts as a Headie One song as far as the three-track rule goes, since he's the first artist credited.

Would the track not be treated as an equal collaboration? If so the chart rules refer to the releasing label:

5.1 d

iii) In the case of singles that are equal collaborations between two or more artists, a single will count towards the maximum of three chart eligible singles of the artist on the releasing label.

iv) Where all collaborating artists appear on the same label releasing a single, the releasing label must nominate the primary artist.

The reality is we have no idea how the OCC registers these things as it isn't public information, as proven by 'Shallow' being allowed to chart alongside 3 songs from Gaga's album :P

I would assume 'Only You Freestyle' is ony registered to count as one of Headie One's 3 singles but it's a moot point considering Drake only has 2 other songs as lead artist in the top 100 anyway.

I don’t think he is.

The song was released under Relentless, Headie One’s label. So it actually might have just been a feature.
