Excellent remix of In and Out of Love from Nick Reach Up bringing all the piano-house feels. :dancing:

Such a shame Radio 2 haven't picked this up after all their support of Who I am and Blame it on me... It's overtaken Blame it on me as my second favourite single of this era now.
Could it be that they're waiting to support it nearer the time of the album? Hopefully it'll be added in a week or so.

I hope so, Mel and Radio 2 have had a good relationship for a while now with them giving her pretty good radio play (I mean if they playlisted Dear Life and don't playlist this there is NO justice at all!)

Really nice remixes! Will buy!

It is quite sad how quickly this got a bit forgotten straight away upon release. I suppose the whole focus was to sell the pre-orders of the album, as In and Out of Love isnt even a single on iTunes for instance...

Thought after the relative successes of Who I Am and Blame it On Me, you would have thought a bit more interest on this one would have been picked up.

I blame the video. It's really poor quality... I cant believe they recorded it in such an amazing place as Alexander Palace and it's so dark it could have been in any old black walled theatre...

It's radio support that is holding it back, nothing to do with the video really. Hopefully Radio 2 picks it up as they gave great support to Who I am and Blame it on me that's what IAOOL needs! I'm still hoping it's being held back to a couple of weeks before the album is released to help push the album! Otherwise I don't understand the lack of support after the big support of the last two.

It could very well be that it is just not being picked up. Who I Am and Blame it on Me were relative successes, but didnt necessarily translate into sales or much comercial success either..

Personally I think it will just die a bit and hopefully she has another single ready for the album launch. There were rumours that Overload was going to lead the album launch, so it doesnt make much sense for In and out of Love to be picked up later in the month...

Gutted for In and out of love if that is the case I mean having Dear Life get B-listed and In and out of love not even getting listed is a crime!

In fairness, it is the least interesting single of this era so far  But I agree, that it is a bit of a shame as it seemed like Mel was on a roll for once <_<

My thoughts on In and Out...

Its a good, catchy e fun song. But (commercially) the fact that it sounds like a Dont Start Now version 2 may be the reason why they cast it aside. In terms of originality it sounds like a mix - Everybodys Free, Tripping, Dont Start Now.

My first time hearing was... ok, this is nice...but I have the feeling I heard it before. So, who knows...

It’s actually my favourite, and I’d say it’s the most contemporary song of them all so far!

Yeah I agree IAOOL is my favourite of the three tracks so far.

I’d be surprised if it’s not added on Radio 2 this week, they been playing it the odd time over the past week.

It’s also been added to a few playlists on Spotify uk, A Perfect Day playlist has 715000 likes and New Dance Revolution 58000 likes, quite low down on both but better than nothing I suppose.

IAOOL is my favourite of this era too. Lyrically, it's very refreshing. Really uplifting but not in a campy way. Not that I mind a bit of camp, but this just seems more universal.
I think IAOOL is going to end up being my favourite of this era too... at the min Who I Am is just holding on but I find myself loving IAOOL more and more with every listen.
I definitely can't see R2 snubbing this. Blame It On Me had a fantastic reaction on iTunes by R2 support standards, I expect they're just waiting so it coincides with the album release!
It will Definitely be play listed. Even hold on was c listed and high heels B listed which wasn't even on the main album. Although I suspect it may not be play listed for a long time as overload will be released around albums release.

Finally B-list on Radio 2.
