4k above lover's 3rd week and only like 6k under Lover's sales at this point to date!

 

first album to spend 3 weeks at #1 this decade I think :cheer: Probs the last week at #1, v. likely Biffy Clyro & Burna Boy will be ahead next week I'd say

Not sure how much he'll benefit from low sales period, but the singer from Manic Street Preachers has released an album and I can see him being #2 behind Biffy. Burna Boy possibly top 5 but I don't *think* he has a physical release (well, I wasnt aware that he'd released an album)

I wasn't aware he had either but he's already ahead of Taylor on Apple Music so if his streaming is strong enough I can see him being ahead of Taylor too aha! :( at least there's no physicals by the sounds of it :kink:

I was gonna say I thought there were albums that had spent 3+ weeks at #1 this year but the music week article made it sound like it was the first either consecutive/non-consecutive to do it since Xmas haha :lol: but yep this seems to be the first consecutive one this decade!

Dua still takes the cake for #1 album of the year for me but folklore is VERY VERY close and both are way ahead of any competition

I’m on holiday for two weeks but just saw she’d achieved number 1 for a third week so logged on to say woohooo :w00t: :cheer:

P!nk was the last female album to get three weeks at #1 in a row (I think!) until folklore.

 

weirdly enough that was also her first album to get more than one week at #1 too

4.1k in today's update, which is the exact same as Lover's 3rd week update! lover did 11,459 in its 3rd week so I'm guessing that'll be around what folklore manages this week!

 

It's 5th in today's update but should easily be 3rd by tomorrow, could claim 2nd but #1 is impossible

back at 2 in the midweeks! Looks like the sales are gonna be nearly identical to Lover's 4th week!

It's too bad the third party sellers are ripping the fans off with the prices they are charging for them! :( Someone like me who is an actual fan rarely gets chances getting that type of item!

Ugh. Third party sellers are the WORST. I wish there was something the artists could do to prevent this (same thing with tickets etc..)

 

Tbh, if the user is offering more than the RRP for the item then it should be taken down. The only way it sells for more should be if it's being genuinely auctioned or something. But then what's to stop them getting their friends to bid so much to launch it higher... :(
