Looking back, I remember it being a shock it remained Top 40 as it slipped 16-28-35-36 during the week.

 

It was all that last minute panic-buying I did on her website, remixes on iTunes, Amazon and 7Digital that secured it. :kink:

I remember thinking its gonna end up at 41 so 38 was brilliant as the other side of was like il settle for even a number 40.

It stayed top 40 because BMG saw the fan campaign and released the song on a Bundle on Kylie website and fans bought it again midweek to counter the poor streaming.

I don't think she will drop as much throughout the week but obviously missed out on those Day 1 sales from Thursday and Dancing sold a huge amount on Day 1 then fell sharply

I've gone for Top 75, although I'm hoping for much higher but I'm being realistic.

I've went with top 75 as in number 63 but I'm hoping that will be its lowest in that I'm hoping it can climb at some point.

Itunes sales data from a website says Kylie got 200 sales on itunes combined in last 24 hours. It said Little Mix had 267 so I think the figures will be better

 

Spotify 62,000 streams at 600=1 sale or 1200=1 sale that's 50-100 sales there.

 

Then sales from other download, streaming, youtube sites

 

I think she may have done around 800-1000 sales on Friday.

 

Needs to keep it up though all week. Has it had any other radio plays since Thurs?

When you pre order her CD on her website you get Say Something as a track. Is that counted as a sale towards the singles chart?

I dont think it does but I'm not sure.

I just think her download sales where big for Thursday...

 

 

The team really need to be very active via social media channels and keep their finger on the ball.

I think the concentration will be on the album as they know how limited single success will be.

On her website Say Something has centre stage and they soon released the YouTube lyric video to try and grab some sales. Let's see what happens. Its got its own artwork etc

 

The music video in a few weeks could get some good singles sales if it is good

BMG released a 99p 3 track remix download and there was a competition to dance with Kylie if you downloaded, it was a total last minute push from them and definitely would have missed the Top 40 without it.

 

I think the concentration will be on the album as they know how limited single success will be.

It’s a shame they don’t at least try to get a hit considering the album is 4 months away -_-

Yep and they are capable of doing something similar.

 

The remixes with a new photo will do very well if they release on a Friday and also the video will get good YouTube sales.

 

The more versions on streaming sites the better too so I feel we could have a big week 3. But that's if they release evetything on a Friday, with a bit of TV promo even if only Lorraine.

 

As always though they don't. Probably release on a Wednesday lol

It was a positive move that worked goldenly for Dancing and they need to try the same again.
