'Mad World' a moving track, deserved of reaching Christmas 1 even if I would have wanted Darkness to have done so!

I HATED Mad World when it was released originally as I wanted The Darkness to be #1. However, I owned Now 56 from that Christmas so I heard it a lot afterwards and grew to love it in its own right.

The 2001 one aired yesterday, was thinking it was next Saturday.
