Really hope it grows on me more as I've been obsessed with them recently and this has kind of dampened that as I was hoping for a banger

Somewhere between "it's good" and "like it a lot" on both. It could be better but I'm still enjoying it and bopping.

 

'Break Up Song' is many, many leagues above this.

It's in basic bop territory for me, I preferred Break Up Song but it's vastly better than Bounce Back at least.
