Are you saying that this is an indication of actual numbers? :blink: this forum doesnt have thousands of members like Spice Circle (and thank god for that) so it's hardly a good way of seeing if it's going to do well or not lol

I'm from UK. 2cd deluxe album. Purple Lp and cassette. Also will buy standard cd release week.

38 sales from 13 members on here is pretty good I mean it's nearly 3 copies to each member, bearing in mind that this forum only has a few members and most are not as insanely invested in Melanie C unlike her own personal fan base, I think it's a fairly good indication. Her loyal fans will buy several more copies I am sure and then casual fans or people who decide to buy it based on radio play will buy 1 copy each.

Unfortunately I've decided that I can't justify the cost of the 3LP book format, so I cancelled my order (which also included deluxe CD, cassette and purple vinyl) and got a refund! :cry:

 

I'll re-order the CD/cassette/purple vinyl soon though! :heehee:

 

 

I hope her pre-orders are healthy. I still think it's a pity she didn't have the pre-orders up during Blame It on Me, because her radio exposure and promotion was at a greater level then, and surely would have attracted interest in the album. Things have been relatively quieter with In and Out of Love. Argh.

I'm glad I got around to re-ordering the purple vinyl a couple of days ago! :drama: When the "last remaining copies" banner first went up, I checked the number of copies left... I can't remember the precise number but it was 200-ish. So that banner must have made people rush to buy it.

 

The store currently shows this number of copies left for the other formats:

 

1768 - 3LP Vinyl Book

333 - Cassette

145 - Standard CD

79 - Standard black Vinyl

 

I'm glad almost all of her formats are selling well. It certainly seems that demand was overestimated for the Book format though. :(

 

 

Amazon: The 2xCD Deluxe (still available on Amazon) is currently at #160. Oddly it appears that the signed CD isn't selling well though? At least it doesn't have an Amazon chart position, but could that be an error?

 

HMV: It says there's 611 copies left of the Transparent blue Vinyl, but it doesn't indicate how many copies are left of the CDs and black vinyl.
