August 12, 20205 yr Is perfect gone beat mr brightside how many week chart soon Well Perfect is currently 99 weeks behind Mr. Brightside and with Mr. brightside still charting pretty regularly it’s not closing that gap very quickly. Plus when Perfect eventually goes on ACR it’ll probably never chart again, whereas Mr. Brightside will still chart for 15+ weeks every year, so I don’t think any song will catch Mr. Brightside. It is possible (although unlikely imo) for Perfect to catch the song in 2nd for most weeks on the chart (Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol) but that would require it to spend another 29 weeks in the chart before it goes onto ACR, so I think it’ll probably remain 3rd of all time.

One of their best songs in years, real Sam's Town vibes. The general view seems to be this'll be at the very least a better record than the last two, strongest since D&A.

Well the early reviews have been overwhelmingly positive, and all the singles have had their best reception in years :lol:
