I think Taylor has done this before with some of her older albums as well (having exclusive physical tracks that are later given a digital release).

I feel like this album won't do so well for Kylie if it's going to be as directionless as this. Golden did well as she kept the country tinged vibe throughout and it was pretty cohesive.

Or to put it another way, Say Something is just a weak song in comparison to those two. I'm sure there will be stronger on the album but it's a shame she didn't lead the campaign with one of those.

She was never going to light up the singles chart anyway though. It's just that 'Say Something' isn't building up hype for the album in the same way that 'Dancing' did.

I think Dancing surpassed expectations to be fair, it really cemented itself as a Kylie classic despite "only" peaking low top 40. Say Something isn't doing what Dancing did but that's okay, it doesn't need to be any sort of hit on its own. Singles chart success is a bonus at this stage for Kylie really.

Dancing did also have a big performance on Saturday Night Takeaway
