Latest single from Calvin Harris called "Over Now", which is a collaboration with The Weeknd. The track was released on August 28.

 

Allegedly to be called "Over Now" and a collaboration with The Weeknd. A brief snippet of the song was premiered during The Weeknd Experience, which was the latter's virtual concert on TikTok last week and you could listen to it here.

ooh yes finally a big name collab, let's hope it's actually under the Calvin Harris name too.

Funk Wav vol. 2 incoming then, judging by the snippet? sounding great from it anyhow.

The Weeknd too if Calvin ever goes back to his RnB/funk sound.

I’d love Funk Wav 2, I might be one of the few people who thinks this but I way preferred that sound to his recent house projects

 

I suppose he could keep up this cycle forever and is basically always guaranteed hits, his name is big enough to secure Top 10 at least and there’s enough time between songs that no one gets sick of it. Funk Wav one year, then two years/18 months of commercial dance pop releases with big names, then a more experimental/traditional dance project, repeat recycle

Not so sure on a Funk Wav 2 tbh. It was okay but not what I want personally and that’s all that matters :lol:

I do like Funk Wav but its a pity there have been no Love Regenerator tracks making the charts, Live Without Your Love still has a small chance hopefully and it sounds more likely to be a hit than the previous Love Generator tracks which were more instrumentals.

If only One Kiss/Promises/Giant was a full era with an album, it would have been incredible! Definitely my fave run of singles

 

However, I’d happily take another Funk Wav - it really helped reignite my love for him!

I’m hoping this will be more dance than funk waves bounce style which didn’t appeal to me at all.

I'm still very skeptical if this is going to be Funk Wav related, but who knows at this point?
