I think it's completely unsurprising personally, given the way they play I'm amazed they're in the play-offs. They're unbelievably dreary to watch and the quality of player often enough to win tight games.

Cardiff City have sacked manager Neil Harris after a run of six consecutive defeats.

Harris, 43, and his assistant manager David Livermore both leave the club with immediate effect.

Wednesday's 1-0 home defeat by QPR was Cardiff's fifth in succession in the Championship and their sixth in all competitions.

The Bluebirds are 15th in the table, 13 points adrift of the play-off places and nine from the relegation zone.

Cardiff have not yet appointed a successor to Harris and said in a statement "a new permanent manager and assistant will be announced in due course".

Strange decision, did fall into third in the last month but doing a good job!
Bournemouth have had a poor run this year but that still seems to be something of a knee-jerk reaction (unless Eddie Howe has given the chairman a call).
Would be surprised to see them both turn up somewhere like Celtic
Bournemouth sacking Tindall is basically an admission of failure by the board. If you appoint a rookie manager like that you've got to be prepared to give them time and to build something but it's clear given Bournemouth's revenue and wage:turnover ratio that they're highly dependant on Premier League money and need to return whilst parachute payments are still large. It's clear than Tindall was failing at that job but then that feels as if it was always a likely outcome, so why appoint that type of manager in the first place.

Bristol City have sacked their manager Dean Holden this evening, he was just not up to the job and has cost us loads of points from recent games. I’ve no idea who we will get to replace him at this stage.

Nigel Pearson set to be named Bristol City’s new coach, maybe even early as tomorrow.
That Bournemouth Watford game was a great watch with Lerma causing a all out brawl in the end with all his diving!
