I adore Woman Like Me and Think About Us, I know they get a lot of hate for some reason, but I go back to these two A LOT, the Brits are coming performance of TAU is everything

I honestly don't mind that this was a single... however, they really should have just stuck with 'Strip' as it charted in the album week... and focussed on that and then maybe move onto this.

 

The label politics really screwed up what could have been a great singles campaign. :( WLM > Strip > Wasabi > TAU

 

But I think I would've gone:

 

01. WLM

02. The Cure > Winter - Album sales <

03. Strip

04. Wasabi > Pushed as it gained traction on Tik Tok <

I never disliked Bounce Back but there was definitely something missing to make it a big hit. I think maybe the sample overshadowed them in a way.

I love this. It's so cute. Especially now that I've gotten over the fact that it wasn't quite the 'Santa Tell Me'/'All I Want For Christmas Is You'/'Underneath The Tree'/'One More Sleep' uptempo type smash it should've been.

This might already be my fave lead single from them. Maybe just due to the amazingness of the final chorus.

What a return to form this song is. Absolutely fantastic! I'm so, SO happy it went on to be a huge hit for them. The 80's synth pop sound really suits their style! I feel like this is 'Nothing Else Matters'/'The Cure' but more 80's.

 

Incredibly fun, joyous and I can't help but mimic the Tik Tok dance *eyes*

Also, I still don't get what's so bad about the video??

 

It's SO well done!
