With Chromatica II kinda going viral and '911' having the most streams outside of the singles, I guess I see where her team are coming from if this does turn out to be single #03 :o

 

I would! It sounded a LOT better live than I thought it was going to, and I've always considered it an album highlight. We'd also more than likely get a DARK video, which I'm so here for *.*

On one side, it clearly has appeal because it's performing one of the strongest out of all the album tracks, but on the flip side, I feel like there are a fair few much stronger songs on the album that I'd much rather see being promoted.

 

I have no idea, but more than anything, I guess I want Gaga to be happy with the choice and not be forced to release something she doesn't want to, so I'm happy to support whatever the team decide on ~

 

(and this is a gigantic BOP of course + it is SO different to SL and ROM and pretty much everything else in the charts, it's just I have more personal connections with other songs on the album)

Her VMA performance tells us it's more than likely the next single, but little teasers like this seem to play into it even more!

I'm undecided! It's in my top half and definitely has some familarity factor considering the Chromatica II transition went viral basically. However there are songs I would rather see pushed ahead of it that feel a more of an 'event' than this song (the likes of Alice, Sine From Above, Babylon even Replay). It was good to see it get a nod at the VMA's but I'm not sure it has that much more steam left compared to other album tracks. If we were talking single #6 and a chance to get a music video for it then sure go ahead!

I've voted 'yes' because f*** it, it's totally bonkers and out there and whether it smashes or not, I am glad we are getting a single from a different section of Chromatica! Here for the ride~

Anyway, I would have preferred perhaps Alice but I'll take 911 as well.

 

And at this point it doesn't really matter if it becomes a hit or not (unfortunately it's very hard these days making hits after album releases anyway) but if this goes Top 40 and she gives us a killer video then it is a HIT!!!

It depends on how you look at it....Will it get extensive airplay? Absolutely not. Has it created buzz already? Damn yes.

 

It needs heavy playlisting on streaming services to become a hit of any kind though. But a kickass video would be enough for me.

 

I would say that Sour Candy was kind of the single #3 though, it has great streams and a lyric video. Or maybe a single 2.5 lol

Think this will flop in the UK. Should do better in the US. Sour Candy, Free Woman or Alice are the only tracks that might make the chart.

I think I'm now here for it! It's a curveball choice but not a totally ridiculous one and it already has some attention. We're never guaranteed another single so I'm just happy they're looking to push forward with more singles! As Bal said, it represents something different from Chromatica and her whole single discography to what we already have.

Before the VMA performance I would be a solid no but I’m leaning more towards Yes now. That performance just brought the song to a whole new level, and if it becomes more of a used song on the Tick Tok trend I could see it taking off more than any other song on the album at this pint

I think she'd definitely incorporate Chromatica II into at least the video, which would be an EVENT *.*

A very good choice. It’s one of the most streamed tracks anyways and has definite appeal outside the fanbase.
