It actually was the right thread. I'm totally confused now. But I cannot thank you enough for all this work so it's ok to say thank you more than once :)

It's a good addition to this stuff, Tess.

Maybe I will use some parts for additional chapter what I'm going to write by myself combining some facts about business and collaboration during last 10 years of Robbie's career.

I think Tim is needed to Robbie even as Chairman.

His new managers always had been in their team and as long their big team can be stay with Rob as long "RW" will be successful.

Seems Rob always likes to keep his roots and traditions and it makes sense.

Next chapter on Thursday will be about Chris Briggs, another shadow hero of his success. Frankly speaking, it will not be so great material and more likely you will get the feeling of deja vu during the reading. But anyway it's great that even this man got his timeline in this book.

But after that there will be an excellent chapter with Guy!

Yes, there is some interesting stuff out there on Chris Briggs , below is a short interview at the BMG awards, includes input from Guy

Old Before I Die was an important song then in his relationship with Guy at the beginning of his solo career

Ability to continuously think about future projects sets Robbie apart from other artists , he is always interested in the job . Rob does always take his work seriously behind the scenes, not something he shows a lot to the outside world , prefers to mess about which is a shame

With Stephen Duffy he felt more independent & took the lead ,

good move on Robbies part though & something he needed to do ) , they worked well together. IC will always be a favourite album of mine

RUDEBOX - Album of Inner Desires .... good description , his personal baby, horrified most of his fans , he was very courages putting it out there, I think the reaction of the press though had a terrible effect on him & timing could not have been worse given that he was in the middle of a tour

Enjoyable reading ...

THIS!

THIS!

Interesting read Alex , Old Before I Die was like an audition for Guy ...

& timing could not have been worse given that he was in the middle of a tour

I've often wondered why on earth they did that. How could he possibly promote it?

Maybe at that stage they didn't think he had to?

he was THE male star at that point of time aside in the USA. They have not expected that the time for the fall had come and the vultures only waited

Maybe - but all stars need promo.

This past week just gone was the week he was doing Milton Keynes in 2006. I saw him twice in that week. One from the back, one nearer the front B-)

It was also the week he announced that he wouldn't be gigging in China/far east and had pulled out of that part of the tour. It was all starting to unravel.

He had 64 dates to do that tour and I think he finished 57 of them. That's a lot of dates isn't it.

This one must be read by everyone!

It has been one of a few interview by Guy about Robbie since 2003 to 2012. That's why.

I believe you will like one interesting fact about Feel at least ;)

Looking forward to reading this chapter , always find the connection they have interesting
That was am interesting read , the breakup was inevitable though, I think they ran out of ideas & Robbie was ready to try something new, what was been said in the press about Guy being the main songwriter etc did not help , I think the people writing those articles knew the truth but preferred to write what they knew would get up Robbie's nose & I think Guy said little to indicate otherwise. The long break did them both good & Robbie discovered he could write successful songs with other people & it broadened his horizons , he had many successful tours on the back of it & must have made Guy realise that Robbie could do it with or without him. I think Guy & Robbie have a better understanding & mutual respect for one another these days .
Nevertheless I see Rob's songwriting abilities underrated. Also with Stephen Duffy it was referred to Stephen as the song writer. In best cases Rob is recognized as a lyricist
I think Guy & Robbie have a better understanding & mutual respect for one another these days .

Definitely.

They needed to work with other people to understand this.

I was thinking today - presumably Robbie hasn't seen Guy nor any members of the band since last Christmas?

The longer this virus rolls on for - the more I realise that the whole of the year will just be written off - professionally anyway. For everyone I mean not just RW.

Not sure they are OK now.

Maybe some private concerts would help them but we see that Robbie is trying to be far from any performances.

He seems to enjoy his life in private. When I am checking on Rob then I always hope that there is a positive news and surprise of what happens to all his great plans.

But aside of the song with the Struts which I really like there is only idiocy (in my mind)
