September 28, 20204 yr Gah. I was kinda hoping it was 'Treat People With Kindness'. I feel that message would have hit SO HARD towards the end of this year. I like 'Golden', but I can't say I ever envisioned it as a single, personally. But, so many others clearly did, so obviously I'm in the minority. Just feels a bit TOO Radio 2 to be a hit (but I guess it'll be a hit - even if a minor one at this point in the campaign). Something that a band like The Killers would release now, be in and out of the iTunes top 40 for what seems like forever but not do anywhere near enough on streaming to be an actual hit (obvz Harry is in a much, MUCH stronger position to get a hit of some sort out of this than The Killers are ) It, however, should definitely sell the album through the rest of the year I imagine!
September 28, 20204 yr It's decent, but wouldn't be my pick for a single either. (I wish this sounded like what The Killers are currently releasing lol, much more exciting!)
September 30, 20204 yr A new single is timed greatly to give the album a clear lift in sales and see it easily over the platinum status. Do you know the current album's stats? Around 250K? Edited September 30, 20204 yr by Better Man
September 30, 20204 yr Unless there's going to be a last-minute change, this is going to be pushed as the next single in the US, so it seems that they're not going to do a split release in favour of "Falling" there.

September 30, 20204 yr Great choice for next single. Hope he defies the odds again and gets another post-album single
October 1, 20204 yr Maybe they'll release Falling in the US in the winter.I don't think so now. The reason why I said 'unless there's going to be a last-minute change' is because "Golden" is under Cool New Music at Pop and Hot AC formats on AllAccess, which is a US radio industry and music news site, so the possibilities that this is the next single there are huge. However, as far as I'm aware, the track hasn't been serviced to radio yet, so it's currently as a FYC (For Your Consideration) to radio stations. It should be noted that the same scenario happened to "Lights Up". The track was listed on that site at Pop for a while, but there wasn't a proper push for the song there, hence the reason why "Adore You" is considered as the lead single from the album in the US instead of the aforementioned, which was in the rest of the world.

I meant after Golden has peaked, so probably in early 2021. Edited October 1, 20204 yr by Bagosu
October 12, 20204 yr Played on Radio 2 this morning as 'New to 2' so could very well be a single here too!
