November 11, 20204 yr Hoppipolla was quite big at the time, it had 2 chart runs, first peaking at #35 in late 2005 and then it re-entered a few months later in 2006 and peaked at #24 then of course years later Chicane did a dance cover and called it Poppiholla and that went top 10
November 11, 20204 yr I could never get into Sigur Rós, they were just that bit too alternative for me. I'm obviously not cultured enough to get them :) The Libertines had some good tunes, all my mates were massively into them at the time, but I never thought they lived up to their hype.

November 11, 20204 yr OMG! Since Gezza started the top 100 countdown, I'm losing 1 group every day. :drama: By the way, I thought I would be the only one to vote for The Vamps. So, I'm pleased to see them in the top 100. I think me and Michaelking21 have similar music taste. It's not the first time we vote for the same group. And that is on having phenomenal taste.
November 11, 20204 yr I had a mate who was a massive Bloc Party fan but I never liked them very much. Their songs just seemed so...forgettable? Glad Texas got a few votes :) I actually had their Greatest Hits on the other day, a very pleasant listen! Edited November 11, 20204 yr by M4NGO
November 11, 20204 yr Goldfrapp and Bloc Party are both great, particularly with their earlier albums. Texas are okay but I don't really like anything more than an "I wouldn't turn it off" kinda level. They're a perfect greatest hits only act for me.
November 11, 20204 yr I used to like a bit of Texas when I was very young. I used to think they were singing "my Bjorn Borg" rather than "black eyed boy".
November 11, 20204 yr Someone will lose their 30 pointer on Friday............ I can imagine it won't be too much longer before I do :(
November 11, 20204 yr Pleasantly surprised how many indie/alt groups have made it this far! Hope it's a sign of what might be finishing high, rather than them all being eliminated in one stretch... anyway my 20-pointer has at least two other voters :cheer:
November 11, 20204 yr Cremey & I losing a lot together at the moment  Bloc Party's output after their third album is pretty much all awful but those first two are incredible, but again two acts I've voted for with their highest charting songs (The Prayer and Ooh La La) not really anywhere near my favourite of theirs.

November 12, 20204 yr i can't believe Bee Gees are so low, they're one of the greatest groups in history.... i'm so gutted i forgot to vote for Goldfrapp, they would have been in my top 15 for sure....
November 12, 20204 yr If I stop to think about it, I know that Sade is a group but off the top of my head I'd probably forget and assume she's a solo artist. OneRepublic have released some great songs but I always felt like Ryan Tedder wrote better songs for other people. I know I didn't vote for them but I definitely thought the Bee Gees would finish higher than that!
November 13, 20204 yr Bee Gees deserved much more on here but this is Buzzjack and I'm not surprised at all. -_- My fave of theirs is You Win Again, I think it has aged very well.
