December 10, 20204 yr Happy with that showing for Coldplay, would have been +29 from me if I did a list. That's all well and good but where's this week's quiz? :P
December 10, 20204 yr I have to say they aren’t cool amongst the hipsters these days (a bit like U2) but tbh Eu make great songs and Martin is a great songwriter!
December 11, 20204 yr Coldplay are very much deserving of their status. I almost think we'll never again see a band become as massive as them, although I hope that's not the case!

December 11, 20204 yr All Saints are great. I appreciate them much more as an adult than I did as a child - their music felt too mature for me compared to bands like B*Witched and Steps. I love them now though.
December 11, 20204 yr Good showing for All Saints. 'Pure Shores' remains their best ever for me, from a time when William Orbit could do no wrong  Edited December 11, 20204 yr by M4ngo Ho Ho
December 11, 20204 yr Pretty fitting about the Pet Shop Boys not making it, as Dark Horse said one of the best pop bands in history! they are indeed one of the best pop bands in history... legends
December 11, 20204 yr so happy for All Saints... love them so much... theyre so amazing... saw them live a few times the past 3 years, so energetic on stage... Shaznays vocals r still amazing... Edited December 11, 20204 yr by Dark Horse
December 11, 20204 yr You forget how high quality All Saints were even though they didn’t have a great amount of hits
December 11, 20204 yr The Killers are great. Coldplay are very hit and miss for me, some I love some I hate. All Saints were great and some of their recent albums have also been very good.
December 11, 20204 yr All Saints do have a couple of great songs but I'm kind of surprised they're held in nearly as high regard as the likes of Girls Aloud and Sugababes on here. They never felt anywhere near as significant to me.
December 11, 20204 yr You forget how high quality All Saints were even though they didn’t have a great amount of hits they had almost 15 hits including 5 number 1s which is not bad at all... they deserve to be in the top 10...
December 11, 20204 yr they had almost 15 hits including 5 number 1s which is not bad at all... they deserve to be in the top 10... Oh sure I wasn’t critiquing just seemed like they had a lot more songs especially compared to some of today’s artists
December 11, 20204 yr I regret not giving All Saints any points, I completely forgot them :’) They’re a band I didn’t really ever get into at the time – probably because I was young and they were too mature for my simple tastes haha. They’ve got such a strong discography though and Pure Shores has to be one of the best girl group songs of all time. That William Orbit production works so perfectly with their vocals 👌🏼 I’ve loved their recent material too, it all seems really genuine and not forever like I think a lot of music does later in a band’s career, especially when there’s been a break in between.
December 12, 20204 yr was I the first to lose all my acts? :D not surprising :D the Killers started well but went a bit downhill with every successive album... same for Coldplay really, looking at their discography it's a mix of great tracks like Yellow or The Scientist mixed with embarrassingly bad songs like the Chainsmokers one... I do like All Saints, don't deserve top 10 at all but great band think I'm gonna hate the final 5 especially if it's Little Mix and bands like that, which are a 0 imho, at least it's not gonna be a Saturdays win
December 12, 20204 yr Just realised I've voted for all 7 remaining so I'm happy with the results. Although I do hope Queen go top 5 just so it's not a pure pop top 5.
