Posted September 7, 20204 yr AoAm4om0wTs We did this for Shallow, and now we turn our attention to Rain On Me :o With Rain On Me continuing to dominate global charts, and racking up superb sales, what are your thoughts on how it will hold up over time? Will it go down as a Gaga classic song with regards to its impact and sales? Is it going to join the likes of Poker Face, Bad Romance, Born This Way, Shallow and more? Will we be dancing to Rain On Me in years to come? DISCUSS~
September 7, 20204 yr it will be considered a Gaga classic but not on the same level of PK, BR, BTW or Shallow if it makes sense!!! Probably it will be in the same category of classics as The Edge Of Glory, Alejandro and Telephone!!!
September 7, 20204 yr I think it will definitely be the staple song from this era: TF - Poker Face TFM - Bad Romance BTW - Born This Way Artpop - Applause Joanne- Million Reasons ASIB - Shallow Chromatica - Rain On Me(?)
September 7, 20204 yr Author Yeah I agree with the sentiments that: a) it will be up there with The Edge of Glory, Alejandro etc. and b) it will be the staple song of this era. Two great achievements, even if it doesn't become AS legendary and all-encompassing as the likes of Poker Face and Shallow etc!
August 22, 20213 yr I'd say it'll be next rung down. Not a big fan of the song, though I don't think that clouds my judgement.
August 23, 20213 yr it feels like a cult hit in my miind but i think that without clubs and parties around to really embrace it... it's 'iconic' status was taken away
August 23, 20213 yr I think it will be! Very representative of the Chromatica era more so than any other song which will boost its status imo. It's really popular with the GP as well in comparison to some of her other big hits.
