SKO I do think is slightly different from them in a good way, it's full of energy.

I loved the promise went number 1 for them as so many of their singles missed out going number 1, when i think if the promise i always remember them winning the brit and how excited they were.

It was the long awaited and much deserved award.

defo deserved but the brits never favour acts like girls aloud they never did, i think the girls did some great performances of the promise when it was released but there is also some great sko ones aswell.

Was watching all their pop idol highlights on you tube last night, had forgotten cheryl was bottom 2 a couple of times and was kinda expected to go, while she is my least fave member of the group there is no denying she was the right choice to make it.

I supported Javine not going through although many viewers disagreed.

Girls Aloud had so many different sounds through the years as these 2 songs display but they always kept a Girls Aloud vibe throughout all their releases.

Ideally they would have done a Little Mix and never have broken up

 

Its a shame they didnt stay together, as you mention Little Mix are a great example that girl bands can have long term success, hopefully they can reunite when Sarah recovers and enjoy a new lease of life like Steps when they reformed.
